Finally brought up enough confidence to finally say this! A LOT of games I go in that's PVP, I see people try to go Urgot or those other underplayed champions and my teammates are like, NO! Choose someone else! Or That champion is bad! Well I'm sick of it, truly sick of it! Those who are told that, DON'T listen to them, they're not you! Play who you want to. (Unless it's ranked, but hey, your decision there too.) Like, I LOVE to play even AFTER his huge E nerf! For me, it doesn't matter IF they say the champion is bad! Play who you want to and enjoy it!!! It's YOUR account is NOT theirs! And yeah! I play still and I'm proud of it! Like i always say! It doesn't matter if the champion is bad, what matters is your skill with it and how much you love to play the champion! Again! YOUR CHOICE! NOT theirs! Be proud of who YOU want to play!

After reading this thread, I looked over my champion pool, I noticed I only like to play pretty/cute girl champs... mmm >>.<<

I would rather have someone playing a champion that's "UP" that they dominate with, than an "OP" champion that they either haven't played before, suck at, or are just playing because they're considered strong.

I won my first match on the new Summoner's Rift yesterday in Team Builder. I played Skarner. Skarner's my favorite, but so many people hate him lately. It was a great game. I think some of those players re-evaluated their feelings on Skarner.

I always get sh!t stomped for picking Ashe then end up with a 12/1/4 score mid game while whoever protested my use of Ashe is usually negative and losing their lane.

What most people fail to realize is that especially at lower levels, you are going to do better on a "worse" champion that you are more proficient with than on an OP champion you are not.

Whenever anyone asks what they should play, I just tell them, "Whatever you're best with."

Yup,it's not about playing popular,balanced,completely meta picks that you're the best at (in anything besides Ranked,though you still can there.........but,people........)

It's about playing the champs you like regardless of your skill with them,how popular they are,no matter how "broken" or "balanced" they maybe,how much they adhere to the current meta.If you find them fun,then that's all the reason you need to choose to buy & play them.

People say Katarina is broken & require no skill to play?Doesn't matter,you like her because she's a badass hot red head. Everyone hates Teemo ?Doesn't matter,you already signed you contract with the Devil. No one plays Urgot because he's ugly?Doesn't matter,you are very skilled with him

If you're new to the champ & their play style,just practice & get better.

Please note:This ISN'T an excuse to troll,especially in ranked.You'll ruin people's games that way,unless you're playing with friends or something.

It feels like a brutal cycle. I play as an unpopular champion I love, and I get yelled at for not playing an "OP" ( Katarina , Yasuo , Akali ) champion. I play an "OP" champion for the first time and don't immediately own with them, and I get yelled at for being a noob.

I hate When people Rage in chat in champ select When i pick Elise Elise I love playing as her and i am actually good at her. I feel inspired!

You never lose a game in champ select in soloq queue. You NEVER EVER EVER lose because the other team had better champs, you lose because you got outplayed. People need to understand that you don't have to play what the pros are playing. The pros are pros for a reason.

I don't want to disagree with that, but I have to give one exception. Team comps still matter, so you have to find a team your champ works with. I'm posting this since I really like playing Malzahar . However, since pushing comps are really unpopular in tb, playing him is bound to be frustrating since pushing alone will only get you ganked. I believe making plays is possible even on the most underrated champs, but if you want to have fun or win, try to find comps they fit in.

On the subject of Talon, I remember some of my friends were complaining about how bad he was up right up to the point Voyboy(I think?) played him in the LCS. I'm not saying that every champ is equal, but personal skill is by far the most important factor.

You see issue is,and maybe it's just me,but I also like winning.

Riot does beyond a horrendous job at balancing,I've tried playing champions that I actually like,and they all felt miserable,do you know how fun it is losing to a terrible opponent simply over a pick? Not fun at all.

Just save yourself the trouble and play overpowered nonsense like everyone else does,it's not like the balance of this game gives you much of a choice.
