I know how you're supposed to take tower shots and then take raptors or wolves or something, but taking tower shots at 1:30 is way too risky, and will most likely offer the mid lane a kill. Is there another way to do this with quick clear time (his passive) to get the lvl 2 lead?
You don't have to take tower shots... you just let the raptors kill you.
What... Where'd this "tower shot" thing come from? Most people that get level two just start off at raptors with him are able to kill them before and after the passive then just go back to their lane (as seen in the LCS)
You could also sneak into the enemy jungle and do this with one of their buffs if they haven't warded and you know it.
