So I'm going to do provisionals this summer when I hopefully get better, what are some good bans? I'm thinking Shyvana and Sejuani because they are godly and get fed every game I play. I don't want to ban all mid laners or all junglers. Anyways, anyone have any tips?
Personally I like to ban Katarina right off the bat unless I'm first pick and I have the chance to pick her up. She is really strong and carries games even if she loses lane so she is a priority ban. Nex would be Sejuani as you said and then lastly would be someone like Annie, Nasus, or Blitz. Also Blitz is one of those pick him up or just ban him straight off.
I was thinking of trying to be Katarina for provisionals because I practically never lose as her unless my mid laner roams and gets more fed than me. Then again I'm not too good with mirror matchups at Katarina (partially because of the junglers).
Ban jinx or other popular low elo champs.

I ban champs that require some shred of intelligence to beat
they are way more terrifying than OP champs
I dont trust anyone in low elo to deal with Nasus, Katarina, Leblanc, Fizz, or Blitzcrank
low elo (including my own) don't know to deal with zed or katarina. sejuani is backbreaking to play against too.
i mean you've got annoying champions like cho'gath, hecarim and leblanc but they either drop off at certain points or require a modicum of skill to play whereas any idiot can point and click on katarina or ult someone on zed and then hit 3 q's because people don't bother trying to dodge it.
go classic, blitz (cuz low elo players can't dodge a hook) katarina (cuz regardless of skill low elo will feed her) sej (cuz tank meta) if the other side bans any of these then drop a hate ban on champs you dislike
