Riot said that holiday events will no longer be on the holiday they are made for, because they are to busy.

They tried to spin it into some we can do it year round bullsht.

I think Riot just underestimated how much people like these events.

But there will be a Halloween event this year, extremely soon, probably didn't happen today because of worlds. The note just says the Harrowing (Shadow Isles) won't be the theme of every Halloween event anymore, but there will still be Halloween events. This year it's Zombie Apocalypse themed (Slayer Jinx & Panth, Zombie Nunu coming with it) and certainly the opening of the vault will be here as well.

Its on the pbe forums, ive read the post hes referring to. Riots opinion seems to be that we enjoy holiday skins when it isnt the appropriate holiday so they can get out more content. Its quantity over quality. And a terrible decision.

I asked the same thing, got no responses. Last year it was october 19th-31st i beleive anyway, so im pretty disappointed right now.

We still get Halloween skins.

For the past 2 years, the Harrowing is the name of the time when the Black Mist reaches out from the Shadow Isles, which isn't necessarily the time of harvest in the Western Hemisphere of the Earth. When that happens, we'll get Harrowing (Shadow Isles) skins.
