"Bronze Mentality"

I was trying to think of different ways I can adjust my game from a mentality standpoint.. but some things people complain about are obviously a bit ridiculous and opinions tend to change quite a bit based on who you're teamed up with.

What are different things that people often complain about or hold against you? For example.. in pregame you're looking at the opposing champ's selections and you have a guy who picks Darius into a Teemo. He gets steamrolled because he counter picked himself, but claims Darius would have been his best bet. I would blame the player for this situation for not having enough champs he's experienced with and put himself in that situation. Or is it the jungler's fault at this point for seeing the mismatch and not helping Darius to a couple early kills?

Blame the team. It's a team game, and though one player may stand out, it's the actions of all players that lead to a defeat.

Darius may be able to snowball hard if he's able to get an early gank and get ahead. If he falls behind, he can still try to TP or roam to help other lanes. Teemo isn't exactly the fastest tower pusher in the game.

Mid can find opportunities to roam top and get shutdowns, they can also make plays for dragon and help ward the map. Jungler can ward and apply pressure all over the map. Teemo may think twice about going back top when his mid lane is losing their inner turret.
Bot lane can control dragon and ward the map. They are also the best suited for taking objectives. It may not matter that teemo is killing darius if darius is getting enough global gold to stay in the game.

It's always easy to point to a weak link and say that's the reason we lost. That's also the least helpful thing to do. A better outlook would be to look at the game and figure out what you can do better to allow a win next time.

In bronze teemo doesn't know how to kite, then proceeds to die as he fights darius in melee.

IMO, it's very rude to blame the Jungle for not helping you when you fail in your lane. They're responsible for all other lanes and if other lanes are doing poorly as well, the Jungle cannot babysit one lane and let the others go down.

Although I have seen Junglers just not gank at all. I've had games where they gank all of twice and it was just them coming into lane and taking farm. I usually won't blame the Jungle unless they actually do nothing. And in the Darius vs Teemo case, if they Jungle ganks and doesn't give Darius the kill to maintain some form of equality with Teemo, that's the Jungler's fault.

in bronze counter picks dont exist. you can run any champ to beat any other champ in lane even when they arent supposed to

I always thought Junglers should snowball lanes that are already ahead...

Ahh well, I would blame Darius in this situation. Clearly he is the one who made the mistake in this situation, so any further mistakes caused have been directly caused by Darius. Everything rests on his shoulders in this situation.

That aside, it's a Teemo vs Darius. Unless Teemo steamrolls so hard that he split pushes to your Inhibitor every time you leave him alone for even a second, I don't see this being too drastic a loss...

When I jungle, I don't gank for people who already died 2x or more. I usually gank for someone very snowbally like zed/fizz/kat. And he could have won that matchup if his skill is good enough. It's his fault if he sucks but if hes good, who knows. He could have won

I never blame the jungler for something that happens in lanes. They are solo lanes for a reason, you need to be aware of what you are doing within those lanes. When the junglers show up it should be 2v2 not 2v1. You should have ur shit warded, it should never be 2v1.

But if you are a smart player then counter picks and such should never matter. You farm under turret or u double jungle with ur jungler, hell lane swap. You have plenty of options.

Something that i got today was being called a slut by my adc because i, as the mid laner last hit the enemy blue buff when we were stealing it. I had not received any of our blue buffs, nor did i ask for them (if a jungler thinks he needs blue to be effective then i let them have it, i'll win or at least go even in lane regardless).

Other things are usually like "why are you split pushing while we are team fighting?" When really the question should be "why were u team fighting when i was on the other side of the map and u knew there was 5 of them? lol"

I play in order mid/adc/top/support/jungle.
