Is it ok to solo splitpush as the ADC?

I just had a game as Miss Fortune, where my team got really far ahead (3 inhibs down at one point to no t2 turrets of ours down), but we failed to close out the game due to our inability to group and win teamfights, along with allowing vayne to get enough CS from the super minions to 1v3 our bruisers. I am well aware that when ahead, teams should try to group together to secure objectives. However, this game, for whatever reason, we farmed jungle and took baron for over 20 minutes instead of grouping up, warding, or bush tactic ambushing like I had asked. Normally, I play top or jungle, and have a champion that can easily grab an inhibitor or spare turret while everyone else is distracting the enemy team, but I felt like I couldn't solo splitpush as an ADC in case I got picked off and we lost the subsequent teamfight. I've noticed that most throws tend to happen when teams fail to pressure after getting multiple inhibitors (which was the problem here), or trying to baron when 4+ members of the enemy team are up and not stuck in base. I've mostly managed to discourage my teams from doing baron when 1 or fewer people are dead, but I still have seen the long, drawn out games that allow the other team to get back in when we could have ended long ago.

Is it ok for ADCs to splitpush by themselves, or should they just continue to beg their team to stop farming and group up? Is there any way to close out games besides forcing teamfights or splitpushing?

I see the problem with your comp, You had no way of starting a fight. YOu think people were mindlessly doing other things but each one of your frontliners (eve, ekko, rivan )did not want to die. The fear of death and looking bad kept them for going forward and your team disintegrated into a pick the someone off so we feel confident comp.

This is what happens when you have all carries and no real front line. Everyone wanted to be the guy but the guy always needs to stand on someones else shoulders.

Depends on the game. If you notice that the team has poor control over their sidelanes or reacts very slowly to them being pushed, then you'll probably benefit from grabbing them. If they're consistently responding to pushed lanes and not just letting their tower be pushed for 2-3 minutes at a time, then best to stick with your team. There's also of course the case where they only have one carry that just showed on the other side of the map.

If you ward well and are capable of dueling then I don't see a problem with it, or are just Sivir and can one shot minion waves. It depends on the ADC and the situation. If I can't make it to a teamfight, I'll try pushing to get something more out of it.

depends on the game, if ur ahead and can duel and have ward coverage, go for it, if ur playing a champ like draven twitch vayne etc, and have great dueling potential u should nearly always split for t2 turrets. splitting is a good way to preasure the game if you win ur lane but not everyone else won
