Might take him to ranked if I do so. How is he in the current meta, and what can I expect if i'm in silver? Might be Worth saying I don't play mid much anymore, and apparently he's a mid-laner - or at least that's what i've seen more.
Just do it.
He's acctually really strong. His q has great wave clear, as soon as you get like rank 4 in your Q, and athenes, you can one shot the caster minions with a single Q. They buffed his ult, making it do more damage the more you get hit. He's really strong, just underplayed. That gives you an advantage, because people won't know how to play against him, and not to hit him when he shields himself, etc. Buy him. I have him and hes pretty fun, but I mostly play assassins
He's pretty good if you can manage your mana early game and hit your super slow Q. He gots a small buff (big in terms of teamfights)
oh and he is amazing in ARAM.
I always had a soft spot for Galio, especially with that new Defensive Mastery. Go mid with him, buy an assload of MR items, you're OP as hell and somewhat tanky.
