Help with Zed

Well the title basically says it all....But yeah I got Zed because he was on sale. Practiced a few bot games with him and did okay. Just wondering if you guys had any tips on playing Zed before I take him to PvP. Thanks!

save your shadow for escapes not for farming

item 1036 into item 3134 then item 3035 and item 3117 early game and your set. max q, farm with AA when you can, or just use q to get as much as possible vs them ranged folks. As said below, you can save your shadow for escaping or poking your opponent in lane till u can all in him, it also gets them away if u land it to farm. Eventually getting item 3153 will help you too.

Look up Redmercy, he has a few zed guides that should help you out.

All I can think of to help is to keep in mind if they have a way to deal with your ult, zhonya's, QSS, exhaust, or an untargetable, try and bait that out before going in for your ult.
