Singed vs Viktor Help

I recently played a blind pick where I was forced to lane against a Viktor top as a Singed. To put it short I got absolutely destroyed. I couldn't get close enough to fling him and he kited me easily with his ranged abilities that did a huge amount of damage. I got killed three times by him and got majorly out csed before we surrendered at 20 minutes.

If I do have to endure this lane again, what do I do? Viktor does so much damage and can kill me even if I'm farming under turret. I play Singed a lot and usually manage to do well, but in this particular case there was nothing I could do. We surrendered before I could build MR and he got cs a lot faster so he build a bit of magic penetration. There was also no way I could catch up to Viktor to kill him (though most of the time I was playing safe).

Can I have any advice for this match up?

Against any ranged mage top laner, you should just try to farm safely, maybe even under tower, and ask for ganks. Chances are their team will have a weak frontline, so when you group and take objectives your team will come out on top even if you lose lane.

Vik is like the god of poking melee champs.

Get a banshee and prey that he will let you farm under tower.

If he doesnt and comes to close, flip him back.

Tbh in this matchup i would consider maxing w because of the increased slow

You need your jungler man, don't be afraid to ask for help. If they don't help then fuk em they belong in bronze V
