Hi,
I understand what makes Ryze / Lissandra / Vladimir good top laners, but why is Viktor played top as opposed to other immobile mages like Xerath or Syndra? I'm not saying it shouldn't be the case, I just don't understand the reasoning because I'm pretty new to the game ;)

Even since rework he has slight mobility and lot of power
I think viktor is played top just like Karma is played top.. Although neither are popular (hell I've never even seen viktor top XD) They both have good cc to avoid ganks, good poke, and can build tanky ap items like liandry's and rylais and actually become quite tanky.
