Katarina or Azir?

Azir is pretty strong right now. Kat is banned a lot and very counterable.

Both are good picks, and both offer a lot to your team if played correctly. I'd rather have a good Azir on my team come late game though!

Azir is the safer pick. I prefer Katarina honestly...but Kat is very situational based on opposing team comp where as Azir would be playable in a much higher percentage of games. So if you want one you can more reliably play...Azir's the right choice between the two.

Definitely Azir. Kat, while strong, is extremely counterable and can be easily read - her entire schtick really is to Shunpo in, prime everyone with Bouncing Blades, then use her ult which can be interrupted by any hard CC. That's all she's really good at doing. Azir is much harder to learn, but yields greater rewards: Zone control, ridiculous splitpushing, higher burst, repositioning not just yourself, but the enemy team... he's just an extremely flexible champ great for a huge number of situations:
