I tried searching various sites and the boards only thing I seem to run into is trollposts and whining so hopefully someone out there has an idea on how to beat this guy.
He just seems to have no exploitable weakness other then the 1 second delay on his ult. I've found success laning against him as

but after lane phase he just seems impossible to shut down like you can other champs.

i can beat him with zyra.. Bring exhaust harass him level 1-2 .. play poke till 6 using your abilities not to farm but to harass.. then when he goes in hit him with exhaust and dump everything on him.. you have 2 chances for this to work and it is completely dependent on exhaust being up.. if you get the kill you will start scaling better than him.. he than will roam.. you can not follow... just stay in lane and push.. hope the other lanes dont feed. if he comes back with no success he will be open to ult you again.. exhaust should be up by then.. dump everything and hope for the best.. remember not to exhaust until after you have been hit by his ult. and dont use it for other people .. burning your exhaust to save others when you are mid lane basically will allow zed to get away and probably nuke you later.
if you mess up within the first 8 levels and he gets ahead of you... he will dive you constantly and out scale you hard. you will die.. alot.. it is a very fragile skill based fight for the zyra player but can be done. i have played zyra for over 2 years and took about a year to finally figure this out..
