So I've been trying ranked support lately and been trying to improve.
I like playing support, it feels like a very trolly position (troll towards the enemy team, not my own) Where I make it very annoying for them whether its with heals, crowd control, etc type of annoying and let the (hopefully) more experienced player as adc do the mario thing, eat the fire flower, and spew balls of flaming auto attacks at the enemy team for massive damage.
So I'e been trying to play ranked as
lately cuz honestly I wanted that victorious
skin....but chances are I won't be able to make it to gold. :(
However I Think I want to main support in season 6 ranked and hopefully do a bit better, so here I am in Tips&Tricks hopefully looking for some constructive criticism (Although I suck at analyzing criticism) and maybe see if what I'm doing with my runes, masteries, and build is following a decent path.

These were pretty much some generic runes I picked up a while back from solomid.net that I use for tanky purposes. I couldn't find any thresh builds that honestly appealed to me on solomid and a lot of them were outdated with outdated items. I like move speed, it's kinda my thing. I like being able to outrun the opposition, whether its for getting away or for catching up to them when they flee. with 3% most champs wil get around 10 move speed, which I think has allowed me to get some just-in-the-nick-of-time moments for both hooks and lanterns on thresh and to get away from annoying situations. the health regen quint is there to heal up some poke and because I don't have any other good worthwhile quints haha.
Reds and yelllows: Well thresh being thresh and bot lane having to fight against adcs, I want armor, and thresh starts with a super low amount of it so I tossed in the good ol armor yellows and then some reds because don't think there's too much for thresh in reds aside from armor.
Blues: scaling magic resist because most bot lane doesn't do too much magic damage unless they're high base magic like karma. Scaling because they will give me a bit better resist than flats later on as enemy AP champs start buying ap items.., which gives me about the resist of one null-magic mantle worth 450g.
I can already see some people looking at me funny..... and it might get a bit worse with masteries...

yeah, stop trying to slap me through your screen now plz. I took 4 points into sorcery because I like cooldowns. crowd controls, heals, and supportive abilities love cooldowns IMO. I always try to get as much cdr as I can on supports. took block on defensive because didn't know what else to put points into. Utility..... yeah what can I say, I like utility. This is my generic, multi purpose support/utility masteries page.. I use it for all my supports unless perhaps I play a mage bot and I want straighter AP than supporty stuff. With the other 5% cdr from Intelligence here, I start with 10% cdr. Scout is a bit better than most people give it credit for. The extended range is for TRINKETS only and doesn't apply to sightstone wards and can honestly make a bit of difference when warding for me, it can make the difference of me being or not being seen by the enemy as I hide in a brush and try to place a ward in another brush. fleet of foot gives me another 1.5% move speed for a total of 4.5% which is maybe another 4.5 move speed, maybe roughly giving me 13-15 move speed on champs.
Now for items....
I start
on thresh, usually aiming for
on my first back or perhaps if I die and happen to have the 800 on me at the time. If I have extra I'll try to get a
in there and refill my hp pots. My main short term goals after that are
and
with the intent of turning glacian into
because I'm really liking the bonuses for my adc, gives me cdr, mana, some ap which honestly is fine by me even though I don't need it (makes my lantern happy tho) and also thresh will start to get tankier over time from souls so the slightly low armor doesn't bother me much.
later term goals are getting
after zekes and usually going with
because i don't see any real benefit on going locket over banner. Banner gives like only 200 less ho but it gives me AP and can help push a lane with the promotion active, plus can also generate gold for me and take turrets down faster, and annoy ap champs.
After those items, the rest are actually rather situational for me. for heavy AD team comps I will try for
after banner which will hopefully be just around the teamfight stage and we have at least some outer turrets down.
If my team needs some engage/disengage I will try to get
asap, probably even leaving aegis as is without turning it into banner and just go for righteous. I will usually go with ZZrot, spirit visage, banshee veil, deadman's plate, or randuins after righteous. ZZrot gives nice bonuses on teams that have evenly spread damage sources plus more pushing/split power, espe:cially when we're on their inhib turrets since the distance fro one lane to the other is super short and I can just plant it and let it annoy the enemy team.
Boots: The boots I build will vary. Usually prefering swift, ninja tabi, or merc treads. I don't like mobi boots..... yeah I don't I don't like how it goes back to being normal boots once you initiate combat on something, it annoys me. at least swift is constant move and reduces slow effectiveness.
sorry bout the wall of eye-gouging-text but yeah just an impulse to post it and maybe find some tips or feedback on what I've been doing on bot lane thresh. Inb4 no replies and all the downvotes.
OR
OR
= 10%
OR
= 10%
= 10%
Maybe
over
if you really want CDR and can't get it (need it rushrushrush and are poor)

My ADC be like:
I take
and focus on trying to harass, while protecting and sustaining my carry. My build on those champions in the end usually looks like
and my build is always
