Sol's Q can infinitely grow to the size of a universe.
Fiora used parry.
GG.
on a secondary note, Sol has the power to create and destroy stars. Then he runs into a shaco box 3spooky5me.

If only there was some sort explanation for limiting power on the game field.
Maybe... maybe some sort of organization. We could even call it an Institute!
And we can give it a name!.....
Maybe.... We can call it..... Institute of Legends?
....Nah that doesn't sound right.
Sometimes I forget what this game is called..
SimSalt.
Institute of *War.
League of Legends is was the organization of summoners conducting matches to adjudicate conflicts between city-states. The Institute of War was the organization that included the League and actually interfered to prevent wars from taking place (as occured in the case of the Crystal Scar).

Very poorly done if so. Such a joke was already made in the first post. And the way he phrased it makes it sound like he's got his organizations mixed up. It should either be
Maybe... we can call it.... The institute of war?
...Nah that doesnt sound right
OR
May... we can call it... the league of legends?
...Nah that doesnt sound right
but w/e. Where the original joke was funny, this one was marred by relative unoriginality and strange mixing of organizations.
...You must be REAL fun at parties
You must be REAL original at forum threads http://imgur.com/gallery/6CbxaPc
Same to you, kappa-er
Oh oh! I have a suggestion!
How about an Alliance of Mythologies? Good 'ol Google Synonym search :D
Google Cinnamon Search
Perhaps, the "Guild of Heroes"?
No, that doesn't sound right either.
Damn Synths
I had to log in just to upvote you [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
Wouldn't you then have the same problem? How are a bunch of humans controlling a dragon that can create stars?
Summoners don't necessarily enslave the champion; most/many champions voluntarily choose to be in the league. So all we would need is a reason that Aurelion would want to be in the league.
All summoners do is force their will onto the champion. That sorta does sound like enslaving, but the champions can act freely and do what they think is best. They're in full control of their movements, it's just that the summoners goal is now the champion's goal. It was a in a journal of justice q&a.
I really miss that.
Their goals become aligned, yes, but the champion isn't necessarily fighting that change in goal. Some, such as Nocturne, certainly would have been, but others, such as Maokai, were making a deal of some sort- willingly allowing the summoner to change their goal for a period of time in exchange for some benefit. In Maokai's case, attempts to mitigate magical side effects on nature, specifically in TT.
I agree with you, the LoL and IoW were both really cool concepts that Rito should have worked to develop rather than retcon :/
Oh you're right, I wasn't disagreeing with you lol. Just wanted to add it in there :P
I prefer lore were champs can actually develop as characters over some band aid trying to make sense of game balence.
Strange. I think I recall something like that existing at some point... Nah, must be my imagination.
He then creates an entire galaxy and launches it towards the enemies... AND THEN... Oh wait too bad. A 2m wall of thin air made the galaxy evaporate :(
Stars, on the other hand, ignore windwall.
Guys. He doesn't make a Galaxy with Q. He is a Starforger. It is a Nebula
Tbh nebula's are made of space dust and ate often blown apart by interstellar winds caused by star formation.

Yes this summoner DOES do everything.
I actually have trouble with the scope of this guys power and his presence on Summoner's Rift. This guy is effectively God, and yet how do you explain his shift to a more humble presence?

I think I read on another thread that he was captured? and then made to fight on the rift. idk though, was half asleep browsing boards that time.
but if it's true, it might explain his rivalry with bard, you know with bard being some other form of strange entity as he is, it's possible he tricked Sol.
Bard: hey man, can you check this thing out over here? Sol: Huh? oh right, whatever. What do you want me to see.... hey wait... what is this... HEY! Bard: Haha, gotcha man. Hobo 1, silly dragon dude 0 Sol: I'M GOING TO EXPLODE A STAR UP YOUR HOBO ASS! Bard: Yikes man... I mean beep boop fwoooooomp. runs away
from some of his quotes he's on earth seeking some kind of power to defeat his galactic nemesis, I don't know how needing that power reduced him to such a weak state but whatever I'm not the Lore department

Meanwhile Soraka is just chilling at her lake practicing her flute.
Orrrr, what if the egg in the cinematic that Bard threw up into the stars to keep away from men was actually Sol's egg? Maybe he's pissed off about that.
My personal head cannon is that a summoner can only invoke a small fragment of his power, so he's making due with a meager portion of his real strength. It's like trying to move an ocean with a bucket.

Boredom.
And then a dude with a door comes and blocks the entire thing.
Its a huge aoe so no braum can't block it for his whole team if they are close.
What? He can still block it if even an edge touches his sheild, unless your braum is a backliner.
Things like Nami's bubble will trigger as soon as they hit his wall instead of fizzling out like projectiles do against Yasuo's. It's like this, when something hits Yasuo's Windwall, it just fizzles out, but when something hits Braum's shield, it will still apply whatever CC it has and once it hits the shield, if it is a circular aoe ability, then it will trigger itself around Braum and CC Braum and whoever is close enough to him for the AOE to effect.
Okay yeah, but why is Braum in the middle of his allies instead of the front? A Braum in the front will block the AOE before it even comes close to his allies.
When the AOE activates it snaps so that it's centered around Braum.
I'll try that out on PBE next time I'm on with a friend.
Keep in mind that I'm only basing this off of my numerous games of playing Nami and seeing this interaction with her Q, so some of this is conjecture.
After reading only the title of the post, I thought the follow up was going to be "but Graves can't have his cigar."
Just sayin. :)
Yeah that's kinda weird that chick with french accent could easily stab giant cosmic dragon to death but oh well, video game logic.
Tfw star dragon gets killed by a sewer rat

Thing is, the entire Summoner's Rift is just an arena where Summoners control manifestations of Legends in Runeterra.
So Champions contain things like Gods to Myths (like Kindred, it's mainly just a myth), that are, again, just manifestations of the actual characters in League. Champs like Nautilus, Malphite, and Anivia's actual sizes are the size of fucking mountains, if not larger, and they have to get their sizes (and powers) limited.
Not sure if they're still doing this lore, though.
yeah but.... summoners are no longer a thing. insert-retcon-here.jpg
Good luck landing a fiora W, once it's that huge guessing when he'll detonate it would be next to impossible
wait till he starts to move away, duh
He can detonate it whenever he wants with a second click of Q so once it's that big he could pop the stun when it first covers you, or he could wait till you're in the middle, maybe till it's almost past, it's all just a guessing game
really? i thought you had to leave the area of influence haha, Yeah good thing im good at guessing games xD
