Advice on how to carry games and certain factors to get out of gold/plat

This post has 2 questions.

First question: How can you carry a team with 4 lazy people that do not really try as hard as you when your ahead.

Second Question: What are some things that players should be doing to get out of a certain division. (I've notice that in bronze ppl dont pay attetion to objectives so i punished them for tht and made it out of bronze, in silver i noticed that they didnt pay attetion to objectives and they didnt understand when to and not roam i punished them for tht) now i'm trying to figure out the secret to get out of gold. It seems tht u cant make mistakes in gold or its gg.

Play fotm champs. Roam often

I just recently got to plat after a full season in gold. My suggestion is mute the raging players, play safe and ward often. I immediately upgrade my trinket at lvl 9. So OP. And it is very lane dependent what you do rest of game. For me, I main mid and usually get it. So I have played Diana to great effect this season since she counters pretty much every laner including the other assassins. Also Zed has been working well for me. But to me, getting vision control constantly and just talking up your team when something goes well tends to make everyone play well and you start getting more and more wins. Good Luck!
