The problem with rumble is that your ability to use ONE AOE skill, your ultimate, is the difference between winning and losing team fights. No Im not saying you can't win if you miss, but if the enemy team is stronger or even with your team your ultimate will make the difference. Because of the gamble you run with rumble's skill shot, he is not as reliable as other top laners that have easier to land ults and a better overall fighting style. Irelia Fiora Lissandra Riven Gnar That is just my two cents....

Rumble is an insanely strong champion, but he also has a really high skill ceiling because of his passive. His skills are amazingly strong and hilarious to use at low levels and high levels alike, but most people try to spam his skills and end up giving themselves an early silence. The ignorant masses still see him as weak because his damage is not bursty and most people have no idea how his ult or passive work. I'm personally glad he has such a high difficulty because otherwise he wouldn't be as fun to figure out and would be another easy mode champ like Nasus.

He has very low burst, although his Q can be seriously annoying, and a little easy to be poked at.

Not entirely sure what people are saying here as Rumble isnt that hard to learn, the mastering of his Passive ability "Junkyard Titan" isn't as difficult as people think. Here's a guide to get a better understanding of how to play rumble, and why he is the strong pick he is, especially across all professional competitive league of legends scenes. http://www.lolking.net/guides/336905
