She has been a very intense supporter of league of legends but has had her account banned because of suspected cheating wheather it be scripts or whatever else i promise and can 100% assure you that she has not used any method of cheating. She has spent a great deal of money on this game and to take everything away without reembersement should be illegal. Her Name is Sammilamb. Please riot do the right thing.

That said, if your friend sends a support ticket Riot can take a closer look at it. The most common cause of this that I've seen is that people have macros on their mouse or keyboard that executes actions in a similar way to scripts. If that's the case just be honest and maybe they'll reverse it.

So no matter how much out of game currency you spend, if riot feels like shutting down your account then they can just take away all that was given to you. Not to mention she wasn't given a warning or an ability to speak on her own behalf. So i dont believe they can basically steal all her money without being given the chance to defend herself.

It's just like signing any other contract. Next time read the fine print before you spend money on something.

It makes sense though. If I create a macro for my keyboard that triggers QWER faster than i could face roll then that could very easily be detected and interpreted by the system as a script.

Now if I do a similar macro that types "/all QWER" or a different message that won't give me any combat advantage but it may still get detected by the system since I am inputting multiple keystrokes near simultaneously. Or maybe not. There's no real way to know. That why I discourage people from using macros since we don't have any data on how Riot detects scripters.

macros are technically illegal as well if you have more than 1 click 1 action macros.
for example, its legal for me to macro my Q ability to one of my special gaming mouse buttons on my naga hex mouse.
but it is absolutely illegal for me to macro my Q followed by my E ability on that button.
