Shen Rune tips please

I could use some help on deciding whether I should take

magic pen marks and AD quints

magic pen marks and AP quints

Armor pen marks AP quints

Armor pen marks AD quints

Any help is appreciated

Depends what you want. My jungle shen page is : AD marks, Attack speed quints, armor or scaling health seals, mr per level glyphs or mix in some cdr glyphs too.

I decided to go with the ad marks and ad quints. Does anyone actually use shen's AP? i understand his passive, but i mostly want him for split pushing, and i don't think penetration works on towers.

Ad is always fine, however you should try out some attack speed. They scale extremely well on shen with his passive and the ki strike health proc. attack speed will also help with things like hydra or static shiv for split pushing.

I believe shen has the lowest ratios for AP out of any champ in the game so you really are hindering yourself if you go AP unless you want a 1 K plus ult shield.

Alright cool. I didn't think the attack speed made a big difference. I know attack speed helps with the pushing, but now that i think about it it also helps with the W shield for passive cdr
