Champion reccomendations for each lane/role?

Right now I basically have one champ that I "go to" for each role, but I feel like I should at least have two more options in case of bans/other issues. I also used to play a whole slew of champions who I no longer feel comfortable playing (Mordekaiser) so that's also sort've "shortened" my list so to speak. Champions I usually tend to pick are

Top - Shyvana Mid - Ahri, Zyra ADC - I barely play it due to lack of comfort, but when I fill I usually take Tristana if she's open Supp - Sona, Zyra Jung - Another role I rarely play, except in this case I don't even really have a "go to" champion. I usually pick J4 or Xin when I fill this, but I'm not that competent at the role

Really you should just play champions who you have fun with because most of the time you'll have better results than that of meta picks. But to add a few to your list for each role i would suggest,

top: Gnar, Ryze ( both aren't too hard to get a grasp of. Auto Spell Auto reliant champs) Mid: Orianna, Xerath ( safe champ is ori and poke champ in xerath. Again auto spell auto is super effective for both of them) Jungle: Elise/ J4 / Amumu You can pick anyone in jungle honestly as long as you have good masteries. AD: Corki Lucian (Two overall strong and high impact ads. they are pretty good throughout the game and teach you a lot about bot lane) Support: morgana, nami ( morgana is super good because of her insane cc and peel and nami is my favorite because you can make plays and sustain your ad.)

Go easy first and just try to have fun this is my list:

Top: Garen Garen ,or Tryndmere Tryndamere Jungle:J4 Mid: Kat Katarina
Supp:Sona Adc: Ashe Ashe

For me, I favor champion that can carry if they need to or ones that are strong duelists in case my team is behind:

Top: Riven Riven , Irelia Irelia , or Zed Jungle: Vi , or Rammus Rammus Mid: Zed Zed , or Yasuo Yasuo

ADC: Tristana , Graves Graves , or Vayne Vayne Support: Blitzcrank , or Tresh Thresh

I can list my preferred picks, but I'm not really sure of your playstyle so I'm not sure if it will help.

Top: Mundo, Nasus, Irelia Mid: Orianna, Jayce, Morgana ADC: Corki, Ashe Support: Nami, Thresh, Taric Jungle: Sejuani, Nocturne

Personally, I tend to play pretty passively early and favour late-game champions in most positions. I general play characters who are durable and/or provide a lot of utility to their team, with a couple oriented around diving or damage dealing.
