I recognized who it was right away honestly. She has both her big cape and her big bow and arrow which were her two big defining traits. The only skins that she is missing either of these is Sherwood in which she doesn't have a cape. I guess you might be able to confuse her for Vayne but she really doesn't look anything like Vayne.
Cait on the other hand was known for her long gun and her big hats. The picture you're showing doesn't even look like a gun, imo, and her hat looks like Kha's head was slapped on top of her as a cap it's not big and guady like most of her skins.

When thinking about what makes a champion identifiable, we think about what their silhouette looks like - a shape that, even out of the corner of your eye, you'd likely be able to tell who it is. For Ashe, it's mainly her giant bow, and secondly, her cape. She's got both of those still in tact for this skin, which is why we still feel like it reads as Ashe.

I'd say the "identification issues" were because that Cait looks nothing like the other HH skins. The one we got however does have similarities to the rest and thus fits the theme.

I kind of agree with the OP. It doesn't scream ashe, but she's not that distinct to begin with. TBH I think the motif would look better on varus. It suits him more.

As stated plenty of times already who else is a female champ with a giant ass bow, honestly? It's easy to tell it is her due to them keeping her biggest features the same.
Now to the important thing, please for the love of all that is league tell me this skin is happening!!!!!!!! I have been waiting for so long for a really badass ashe skin to come out, no offence her others are pretty and have nice artwork but she is supposed to be one of the most deadly and accurate archers out there and non of her skins give that feel, this one finally does!
