As soon as you understand how the game works the better .... "LEAGUE OF LEGENDS IS A GAME OF OBJECTIVES" Stay alive <=> Towers <=> Inhibitors > Nashor > Drake > Farm > Kills .

Stay alive - Don't die needlessly . Always consider a escape route , and check the mini-map at least to see if every enemy is in lane and act on the knowledge . Wards

will help you avoid danger , so pick one if you have the spare change .Keep in mind who of the enemies can surprise and 0-100 you and avoid his focus if possible . -
Towers - This is the way to your base , you lose towers = you lose games , you take towers you win games its that simple .At least one person on the team should try to take towers by Split push and try defending towers if possible . I'm not saying defend till you die and lose it anyway , if your tower is below 40% and you are alone with no wave clear VS 2 champs with minion wave , you better GTFO its likely you are going to die the second the tower dies .

Inhibitors - Worth dying for in some cases , ( assuming only you die and no high bounty on you or you are not key figure in the team ) .Taking inhibitor will force one or two players to stay in that lane , giving you chance to roam or stay in the same lane forcing more ppl to come and cover wile your team does other objectives , defending inhibitors will prevent them from doing the previous things to you .
4.Baron Nashor - Worth dying if you are jungler and you steal one and die its OK , two people die - MAYBE OK , if your team dies for it NOT OK .Bonus gold - buffs .... etc . you know the rest

Drake - Pretty much the same thing as Nashor , with exception that more than one dead for it its not worth.

Farm - Farming is gold , gold is items , items are life. Focus farming man , just focus farming , you can be up by one kill but if you are down 40 CS you are behind the enemy .

Kills (finally) - Kills brings you gold , and a lil bit of thrill to be honest (its a video game after all , you must have fun) , but if you are a person like me who finds only enjoyment in Wining , ignoring the previous steps and just focus on killing , will not give you the shivers of reading "VICTORY" at the end of the match , just the sorrow of reeding "DEFEAT".
