So adc is my favorite role and is what I would like to mainly play in ranked but I'm having some problems in regards to this meta. I typically do well in lane, and when I play draven I usually come into mid-game fed, but I don't know how to play later in the game when every champ seems to insta gib me. Champs with hard lockdowns always seem to kill me no matter how long I wait to join the fight. (champs like Lissandra, vi, jarvan, annie etc..) I try to wait it out and see if they will waste their ult but they just save it for me every fight. It sometimes seems that if I even come into auto attack range I'll die. I consider adc one of my best roles but adc is also my role with the lowest win-rate. Tips would be greatly appreciated, the adcs I mainly play are Draven, Caitlyn, and Vayne.

Draven is an interesting AD Carry. He's one hell of a hypercarry, but in a hectic late game teamfight he's more burst oriented - instead of stringing continuous double/triple axes together, his play pattern becomes E, R, Auto, Auto, cleanup. I mean, there's the potential to hypercarry and shred through people with continuous double axes, but in most scenarios he doesn't have the range or the mobility to do so.

Perhaps re-assess your build order? I usually stick to going for raw damage with the classic BT ---> Beserker's ---> LW build. imo the more attack speed you get the less efficient it becomes because you're more likely to drop axes and lower your damage output. Now, I haven't personally tried this, people swear by going for BT then Berserker's then TriForce then LW (then IE and a Defensive item).

As for generally AD Carry advice, 1. don't leave any potential for you to get caught by enemy engage in teamfights; 2. hit the closest person to you and try to maintain maximum AA range from them - if there's multiple people in similar range; prioritize damage dealers over tanks, 3. in lane don't go aggressive so much as exploit missteps that enemies make (this comes back to point 2); 4. Play smart - your team needs you as much as you need them. If you see an opportunity to take an objective or start a fight, hover around that area and spam ping it then start it.

If you are having problems getting targeted, grab a GA or Banshee's to help out.

that's why draven's not a great pick, unless you get really fed early and can 3 shot people you're going to have a hard time in team fights because of his short range.

I mean, it's not impossible you just need great teamfight positioning and to pay attention to what spells the enemy team used that you need to avoid.
