New jungle means new champs in jungle?

Seeing that there is a new jungle that does more damage does that mean we will new tanky champs in the jungle?

Who do you think would be a good jungle champ? Besides the obvious like Lee sin and Fiddle and Rammus, more under used champs.

I've seen all these champs do well in jungle. There's some others that work too that I'm not thinking of. It's all about sustain not necessarily "tanky champs".

actually it just seems to have emphasized champions with sustain even more, hence warwick being the king. or champs that can solo drag lvl 2 hence pantheon.

I've been having a ton of fun with Nocturne in JG, but Fiddlesticks and Maokai are also viable.

Actually, I think the only viable "Tank" in the jungle right now is Zac because of his sustain. But his win-rate is quite low even after the patch, so I'm not sure about that. Amumu might be good also, but I'm sure the new jungle beats him up HARD early on, but he scales into that late-game beast we all know and love. I suppose Chogath JarvanIV Nasus Maokai are decent, but I don't like them that much this patch.

Nocturne is actually quite fun and decent in the new jungle. Just don't gank without your ultimate. AFK farm till 6, use your ult sparingly and situationally, and become a mid-late game monster. You can basically 1v1 any APC or ADC once you have like 2-3 items even if there are super-fed because of your spell-sheild, AD and AS steroids, and 2-sec CC. Basically Noc is the king of picks and is relatively more viable because of his sustain/clear in the new jung.

it just means jg is more verstile now. its not just about farming hard or ganking often... you have to secure buffs for your team. counter jg is just as important but its a higher level trait. All the previous jg are still viable.

I've played the new jungle almost exclusively since it came out, and I would definitely say that there are a lot more niches for champs to fill now. Trailblazer is an unconventional Jungle Champ's Best friend, and it opens the route to previously underplayed tanky junglers too.

Some of the things I've tried are Akali Poppy Fizz Graves And all of them surprisingly work very well.

It may be that we'll see some Season 2/3 junglers come back. I don't think we'll see whole new champions who never used to jungle.

That was the original idea, but no. In some sense, the jungle has once again had its focus narrowed. The jungle items are good, and certainly can help to broaden the champ pool CAPABLE of jungling, but you still have to actually obtain the item first for that to work, and as hard as early clears are now that's a big hurdle for someone like Nautilus or Sejuani.

Champs with early sustain, or that work well with sustain runes/masteries have an enormous advantage.
