** I am going to start off by saying that my guide is by no means the "best" guide and it does not fit every play style and every game. It's just how i like playing her in this patch**

** Runes**

 • 3x health Quints

 • 9x Health marks

 • 9x Armor Seals

 • 9x Scaling MR glyphs

 • You can honestly use whatever runes you want i just like having a tankier early game

Masteries 0-16-14

 • I found these very effective

** Skill path**

W-E-Q-W-W-R-W-E-E-E-R-E-W-Q-Q-R-Q-Q

 • I like putting some early points into W because it helps clear the jungle and does a quite a lot of % damage. I helps you counter jungle quickly and effectively but think getting it to 8-10% health is good enough for that stage of the game. I max permafrost first because it does the most damage and can be cast from a distance to be effective. Always level up Ult when you can obviously. You can continue to max flail or max permaforst first, it doesn't really matter just depends on play style. I have had success both ways.

starting items

item 2003 item 2003 item 2003 item 1039

First Jungle Route ( Farm heavy)

Grompsummoner 11 --> Blue --> Red summoner 11 --> Wolves --> Raptos --> Kruggs summoner 11 --> gromp --> wolvessummoner 11 --> back ( should be back around 4:30)

Second buy item 2049 item 3713 item 3341

 • you can buy jungle item + mobo if you wanna go into gank heavy jungle after this. I personally get poachers knife because i have fun counter jungling but everyone buys trailblazer.

** Mid game build** item 3020 item 3724 item 3165

 • At this point you have 40% cdr, quite a bit of ap, and enough mana regeneration to spam your abilities. This is a nice power spike to make a ton of plays and make some game changing ults. I choose this build because since the nerfs to the base damage of permaforst building magic penetration isn't as effective as it used to be. you can feel the difference in a big way. Your abilities also scale pretty damn well with flat ap as well.

** Late game build** item 3020 item 3724 item 3165 item 3089 item 3100 item 3157 ( or whatever you see fit)

OR

item 3020 item 3724 item 3165 item 3068 item 3001 item 3025item 2138 ( or ga/warmogs/randuin/thormail/banshee) If you really want you can go more hardcore tank items but i suggest going for items that don't give too much cdr because you already have 40%. glacial just works reallly well with your kit.

Been playing Sejuani a bunch and have some input. I go pretty differently, but will try out your build some time.

Masteries AP Masteries are important for clear speed and gank potency, though perhaps your utility tree is better for sustain. Oppression is mandatory as, once you get item 3110 you are taking %3 less damage from any enemies in range.

Items

After item 3713 I buy item 1052 -> item 3136 or sometimes item 1026 . The AP will dramatically improve your clear speed and gank potential. Sejuani is tanky and safe enough to gank without added tank stats.

After that is usually item 2049 and boots.

If you are ahead, complete item 3151 . If not, begin building your tank items - but save item 3725 for a couple items in.

item 3110 is essential as it boosts damage from item 3151 (counts as movement impaired) and reduces damage done to you via the Oppression mastery.

Typical build: item 3725 item 3151 item 3047 item 2049 item 3110 item 3102

 • Health boosts her damage quite a bit, and all you need is 1-2 AP Bruiser items (can add item 3116 or item 3001 or item 3157 as you see fit) to do a lot of damage to the enemy back line.

 • IMO item 3165 is unnecessary on her as I have never had mana issues and would hit the CDR cap with it. In my opinion it'd be better to delay the CDR a little by taking item 3110 which is more expensive but much better for Sejuani's role overall.

 • item 3025 is an interesting choice, will try it. I think I'd rather put more damage into her Q W and E than her autoattacks, but it has all the stats she likes and is still AOE. Definitely gonna give it a try.

 • item 3724 looks interesting, I'm not sure she needs all that AP though. I feel off building more than 2 damage items on Sejuani and the ones I do build tend to also have tank stats. item 3151 just feels so right, and if I take a second I'd rather have item 3001, item 3116 or item 3157 to help my team or for oh-shit moments. Plus the tenacity is awesome. But if you are counterjungling, as you state, you'd probably want a crazy fast clear speed.

Abilities I max W first always. It costs the least mana and does the most damage. If you are having mana problems, try maxing this first.

Overall

Would like some input, interested in finding out what is "ideal" for the updated Sejuani. I'm finding I do plenty of damage do squishies or people who don't itemize MR (stacking health is countered by Liandry's). The role I typically take is "First in, last out" of the fight. Disrupt their formation, peel if necessary, and if a retreat is in order ensure that your team can get out in one piece. While your single-target DPS isn't great, you can contribute quite a bit of damage to the team as her entire kit is AOE. I end up cleaning up a lot of the fights, resulting in quite a few kills.

I Am Animation and Chardling you both have fantastic laid out posts there regarding options to build paths, skill paths, runes, masteries for champions. Such dedication! I love it!
