From Silver 5- To Bronze 5.

With 190 Wins in Normal a month ago, I decided to do ranked as SOON as I reached level 30. My provisionals...was a wreck, won only 3 or 4 out of 10 but somehow made it to Silver 5. The 3 wins was achieved from playing Support so I decided to climb my way to higher Rank by maining support. Now, I know I did not deserve to have Silver 5, so when I demoted to B1 I did nit feel as sad, made mistakes, generally a bad player. So at B1 I made an oath to try and improve more, you know, ward more, protect ADC, don't chase, objectives and those things. But now I find myself in multiple losing streaks, and only ONE winning streak, which is I think 5 or 6 games in a row I have won this month, and after that, more losing streaks, I don't know what I am doing wrong.. I DID notice that when it comes to teamfights, the rest of my team focuses the tanks instead of ADC or APC, which costs us the games. I know its not 100% my team's fault, but at this point I'm just getting desperate, I wanna start of season 5 at a fair rank, not bronze 5. But no matter what I do, I just can't get another win streak, even if I go 28/10 on Wukong l, my team has no idea how to focus priority targets, and this is the main factor of why we lose I notice. I just need desperate advice or tips that can help me reach higher ranks.

TL;DR: Silver 5 to Bronze 5, I need help and advice. Ty.

i don't think it's ez to give you advice learn from your mistakes, watch what the enemy (or winning team) is doing, etc. if you're smart that's all it really takes.

Sounds to me like you're doing everything correctly and just getting bad luck. Keep playing, you'll get where you should be at some point. Based entirely off your post I'd probably rather have you on my team than 75% the gold/silver supports I currently deal with.

Itemization. Ask yourself what you're building and why you're building it. Itemization is what separates tiers.

EX: Why would you ever build Hextech gunblade on Twisted Fate?

I see a game where you played Gnar:

Why would you build Black Cleaver vs Jax?

Why would you take teleport as Gnar top vs Jax?

You normally wouldn't rush Black Cleaver to VS Jax as there are better item choices, and he didn't build tank to start. Don't fall into the "Worlds" trap that so many people fall into by taking summoners/champs into roles they aren't comfortable with. When you play toplane you only take TP if

A.) You have a reliable warding botlane who will follow up on your play making (do not trust randoms in Solo que) B.) You are going to lose your lane regardless, so you take TP to maximize your farm for late game/ make plays and secure drake. C.) You are Nasus.

Otherwise you're better off running Ignite to help yourself snowball, then once you take your first tower dedicate yourself to roaming mid.

well its pre seasons right now, its tie to give up cuz id go insane from actually trying to get out of bronze wait till next season when it resets

also, erm try telling ur team what to do you may sound like captain obvious, but seeing as how their actions show their lack of knowledge... its not so bad for you to say somethin

also as a fed wu kong, i think you can assassinate high priority targets urself... just by going invis, dashing, pole bashing, and ulting lol

Try and focus on how the match went, rather than your end game KDA because that can be misleading. For example, let's say you lost a game, but your KDA was like 23/3 , you might be baited into thinking you were perfect but your team was too heavy, or something like that...

But the thing is, one death in the late game could easily be GG because of the long death timers, especially if you're a fed carry.

So if you get picked off or die too early in a teamfight, you did something wrong and it cost you the game. Sure you only had 3 deaths, but that 3rd one is what lost you the game.

Anyways I'm kind of nitpicking. If you wanna climb out of bronze just get really good with champs that can carry. If you're support I'd recommend AP poke champs or leona.

Also don't ever flame people in chat, if they're being trolls don't say anything just mute them. I find that helps a lot.

If your team has problems focusing certain targets you have to let your team know, though do not act like a prick at the same time. If anything I would say play carry roles like ADC or AP Mid, if anything play a Bruiser in the top lane. Those if you win lane hard and your team still isn't doing good in teamfights then you can do something about it.
