Teamate did not connect at Loading Screen, it all falls down on me

So 9/10 players are at 100% at loading screen, except for this Malphite, who did not connect. I was sitting at the loading screen for 12 minutes. I had no warning or anything, so I decided to exit and reconnect. The game already started where the enmy team absolutely demolished our team, it was 10 to 20 when I got to the game, 20 kills done by enemy. My teamates cursed, reported me when I got back. We lost the game. The worst part is, I was given a freaking warning about being AFK or Leaving... I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING IN. PLEASE RIOT. This is the first time this happened to me. And somehow the Malphite was in the game same level as my other team. How did this happen?

You had a connection issue during loading, and afterward the game didn't register when the Malphite started loading. If the loading seems to be taking too long, just reload it. Don't assume it's waiting on the other players, because if your load fails then it will not register what happens afterwards and you'll be staring at an inaccurate loading screen.

This has happened to me several times in the past (not lately, don't ask me why it stopped), and it definitely appears to be other players not loading but it can very easily be an error with you. If it's been an entire minute since some people have stopped progressing in the load, assume it's you and reload; either way, you'll be back in time.
