Tips for jungle

Jungle is the only role that is considered my weakest so im looking for some pointers. I would like to know what champions can apply a really hard early game pressure, and some tips for counterjungling. Also, ive been thinking of grabbing a sightstone after jungle item because i do love to ward enemy jungle / river areas, so feedback on that is appreciated. I look forward for feedback overall, so please dont be shy!

Dont buy ss buy wards unles ur getting sweeper

shaco nid elise reksai and eve r deffenetly some of my favorite early game presure champs

Duo to their badd ass early presure they can put on

shaco and eve might be king and queen of early ganking cause of their amazingly easy powerfull early ganks

where reksai and elise have like some of the best jungle sustain possible if you know how to clear yet still have verry strong early ganks

nids strong but does require better mechanics than the other champs

i think especialy for junglers

baron replays bro

I think in reality we would need to know where your MMR is at to give you the best tips. Playing like you are in challenger isnt very effective in silver/gold etc. because the play style is different.

Early game pressure to lanes: Zac, Xin Zhao, Maokai, Sejuani, Elise to an extent.

Early game pressure to enemy jungler: Skarner, Shyvanna, most any other counter-jungler champion.

LeeSin Maokai Nidalee XinZhao MonkeyKing all have strong early(lvl 1-3) gank potential in both the enemy jungle and over pushed lanes In regards to counter jungling,Nidalee LeeSin and Shaco can apply tons of early pressure on the enemy jungler by way of ambush potential from the fog of war, vision from shaco boxes or nids traps and high mobility to chase down a kill or gtfo alive if things turn.

Ofcoarse, what list of early pressure/counter jungler champions would be complete without mentioning two of the strongest in both areas, if not thee strongest imo. Packing the speed and sustain to keep both jungles cleared safely while still pressuring lanes and enough sustain to solo dragon early if open but Udyr who is strong in most areas and scales well into late game and Nunu the best(or worst if against you) counter jungler if used properly. The bastard can just live in your jungle, stealing your camps, killing your wards while dropping his own and at some point is sure to catch you slipping while your rushing to play catchup and nuke your ass with his ult while hiding in a bush

Evelynn Elise LeeSin Vi RekSai Nidalee Gragas All very good early game

MasterYi Udyr XinZhao WarwickOlaf Kayle If the enemy team is full of idiots you can easily carry with devourer.

Diana Shyvana These are good at 6 junglers. They have horrible early game presence due to their lack of cc/dashes. I love diana because one shotting people feels really good. However, if your lanes feed there is nothing you can do to help them.

Other good options: Vi MonkeyKing Skarner (never played this guy) Rengar Nunu Ekko

These are the "jobs" that you have as a jungler:

  1. Increase the Gold and XP available to your team by securing jungle farm.
  2. Provide map pressure and lane presence by ganking overextended lanes.
  3. Secure epic monster buffs with wards and Smite.
  4. Ward the entrances to each team's jungle to locate the enemy jungler and undermine their efforts to pressure your own lanes.

As far as counterjungling goes, the two most important things you need to know before you invade are where the enemy jungler is (if you aren't at least 95% sure where they are by the time you have vision of their raptors or gromp camp, you should ward, get out, and come back next rotation) and where you are going to run if you get caught. Put wards that give vision of their blue and raptor camp, then swoop in to ruin their day if you see them low. If they show themselves for a gank, punish them by taking their opposite side jungle.

If you don't play jungle don't pick up something mechanically difficult . It looks like you main ADC and Top. Jungle isn't something that you can give simple advice on and really improve someone's play bc it's situation based a good deal of the time (especially w/out watching a replay). However, you have a great win rate on Rek'sai, do you play her top?

It looks like you play Darius Tryndamere RekSai top and Volibear jungle currently. There aren't ADC champs that can jungle really but all three of those tops can jungle decent or really well, so if you're having luck w/ them top I'd say try them all jungle bc you'll know the limits of the champ and can just focus on adjusting to jungle. Also your voli jungle has a good win rate so consider still running that.

Things to avoid if you don't main jungle:Elise LeeSin Nidalee and I'd say RekSai can be weird but you seem to know the champ. The other three are all stuff that take a lot of mechanics to jungle/play and so if you don't main their role and play them often, don't play them (and in general in lower elo I just don't think they're good pick bc 90% of lower elo players don't have the mechanics).

Also as a side note in terms of just what I think would really help you climb (feel free to disregard it if you aren't too worried about climbing and think it wouldn't be fun to do): Your thresh stats are kind of bad (he's stupid hard mechanically so if you don't main support he's usually not worth playing), and your blitz and annie stats are great so maybe play them instead when you support. Your cait looks like you do awesome w/ her, but your ez, trist, and sivir all have better stats than your jinx, so maybe rotate jinx out and play the other 4 and see if that improves your win/loss ratio? Finally there are some stupid simple mechanics champs like nunu or ww if you just need something to jungle that makes it easy for you. (Seriously though, check out rek and tryn (darius is on perma ban sill) in jungle though if you really like those champs.

I don't main jungle, I main support. But I know how to give the enemy jungler a hard time, specifically Eve players.

If you suspect or know the enemy jungler to be coming in for an invade throw a ward into their wraith camp prior to them doing this. Or ask your mid laner to throw their trinket in there. A common habit of invade junglers is to smite their wraith camp in order to give them a ward detection buff. The buff activates as soon as it is in range of a ward, so it will immediately activate upon them smiting the wraith camp. They will kill this ward. But after it activates it goes on cooldown after about 5 seconds or so upon activation. Basically you neutralized their wraith buff almost as soon as they got it. Now if they invade they will be less likely to find any wards you have protecting your jungle and this will also decrease the effectiveness of their ganks as your laners (if they have been warding properly) will have vision of them prior to the gank. This is just a neat little trick I use if I am the support and we just forced the back or killed the enemy bot lane. Or if the enemy jungler is dead.

This trick works great on Eve too because she comes out of invisibility when she fights.
