Which ADC should I play?

Rux100·9/22/2015, 5:15:43 AM·1 votes·3,833 views

Considering I'm usually an aggressive player (all throughout the game), my main spot in the game is sup (contradictory I know, but that's why I love playing Alistar or Singed), and the huge fact I'm horrid at CS, who is a simple ADC (I don't care how "good" they are) I can pick up and practice on without smashing my keyboard to bits?

I own Varus, Ashe, Twitch, and Vayne. Vayne and Twitch are both hard to play cuz they're super squishy and I feel like you need to be good at CSing or it's just not gonna work. I like Varus cuz of his range, and I like Ashe cuz of the kiting. But I'm just not a good ADC... yet. Who's simple?

Tristana Tristana is a fairly easy ADC to use. She has her W as an escape and R(Ult). If you get caught out mid/late game, then you can esily escape. In the early game, her attack range is low/mid but as she levels up, she will have her attack range increase drastically (to the largest attack ranged champ *at level 17) For this case, she is more of a late game champ and could fall off if she is denied of farm. Farming for trist can either be very easy or very hard (depending on your support and the other team's bot lane comp). But if you max her E and buy an item 3031 as her first item, you can pretty much clear a full wave with 3 basic attacks(or less). She also MELTS towers like butter. But like every champion, you have to find an ADC that fits both your play style and your team comp.

Hope this helps,

Caitlyn is probably the best ADC for players new to the role.

Also Ashe, even if you suck at ADC you can make yourself useful with the stun and hawkshot.

Oh how could I forget about Jinx, she's incredibly easy to play.

If you want easy farming, Sivir is cheap, Jinx is stronger. If you want an easy lane, Caitlyn is good too but cs a bit harder.

If you play aggressively, I suggest Sivir, MissFortune, and Graves.

Sivir has a fairly aggressive lane thanks to good damage and the ability to not just push a lane, but shove. With only a BF, you can clear a wave with a single W-Q. Not to mention she can get away with early aggression with well-timed spellshields.

Miss Fortune's lane is based on aggression through poke. Double-up has impressive damage, especially if you can master poking through waves for bonus damage. Her ultimate lets you catch kills on low health players thanks to decent range. Make it Rain works for a little bit of self peel as well.

Graves as a lane is based on getting something early on, which of course requires quite a bit of aggression. He can work well enough with farm, but kinda like Riven, he needs a kill early to make his presence known. Otherwise, he may have some trouble making an impact mid to late game. His passive allows him to win trades by being the tankiest adc around, and his burst in lane is second to none.

Hope I helped. Good luck!

For learning csing, I'd really go with Caitlyn, Sivir and MissFortune . Jinx is also amazingly good at it as well.

awesome thanks for all the responses!!!

I think the easiest champ to learn to CS with for most people is Jinx or Caitlyn. That said, everyone is different. Even though Varus and Lucian are arguably more difficult to CS with I find them so much easier just because their play style fits with how I like to play.

My best advice to you is to go into a custom game with a bot and try out each ADC. See who feels easiest to you.

They're all good in their own right. The only two ADCs who are weak are Miss Fortune and Twitch.Quinn and Urgot are also below average ADCs but most people play them top lane nowadays.

Nobody has mentioned Ezreal the gay yet. He is pretty good. He can poke down the enemy laners with his abilities and his ultimate can farm from a long distance. He is one of the best split pushing ADCs because of this. His downside is his lack of CC and his weak dueling potential.

Tristana Vayne Corki Lucian are good picks if you're good at them. IF you only own those buy sivir she isn't bad. She is by no means a Jinx that can carry 1 v 3/4. She will do a lot though. I highly suggest going on the riot facebook page and getting Tristana & Riot Girl Tristana skin for free. Shes a really good ADC and isn't too hard. Caitlyn ! Caitlyn for all of your needs. She shines when played aggressively, her long range makes CSing relatively painless, and she's a great ADC to start learning the role. Plus she has safety with traps/net, and hitting her ult is a no-brainer.

I had a friend who noticed that the different animations of the auto attacks messed up their csing ability. Like they couldn't as well on Lucian or Sivir, but Jinx and Ashe were easier. Tristana is a very good ADC right now and I absolutely love playing her because I'm quite aggressive and if you have a good support and get an early lead, it gets easy to tower dive with her. + clean up pentakills with resetable jump. Lucian can be very aggressive too but he might be a little harder to learn the combos with than Trist. Kalista is fun and you can rend to get yourself some easy CS, but she's one of the harder ones to learn. And you need a decent support for her. If you play any one champ enough, they will become easy.

If you like to go agro as ADC its an ez pick, play Graves Graves he isn't that hard to play and he is kinda ez to last hit with. I main Graves and MAN is he FUN. You get to go into 2 of them and kill 1 in less than a sec if your some what fed AKA IE-PD-Boots he is kinda like an assassin in a way. summoner 31 I RLY hope that you like graves :D summoner 31

DrShoking9/22/2015, 5:20:55 AM1 votes

graves for burst style aggression and tankish passive

mf to make the enemies cry in lane if they don't have hard cc

kalista rebind your keys

ashe can be aggressive and make plays

graves would probably be the best

most adcs are hard to cs with but the ones that are easier to cs with QuinnQuinn JayceJayce <----------------- tanky, technically a bruiser VayneVayne

After u can cs i recommend LucianLucian why ? cause he have a movement ability and is caster slash auto attack based so he fits whatever playstyle you have while slowly getting you into the other.

Varus is actually how i learned how to adc he was my go to for the longest time i still play him sometimes so for learning hes exceptionally good tho be warned around the preseason riots gonna change marksmen and the items so who you pick may not be the same or as good in the aftermath
