Flat AR pen for last hitting?

Hey guys, I've been wondering if a small amount of flat AR pen would help last hitting more than a few extra points of damage. As far as I can tell minions gain about +2 AR every 3 min. So at most they will have about 4-6 AR around 10 min mark. Perhaps I'll sit down and do the math to see if a small amount of pen would be better than more damage as um desperately trying to get better at last hitting when i play ADC marksmen, and need all the help I can get.

If anyone has a link where this math is already been done please post it here. Thanks.

P.S. I know the general concensous is AD for last hitting and AR pen for poke, but I want math to prove it one way or another.

this is going to change with the next patch; minions will no longer have armor. so i wouldn't go in that direction. Honestly Attack Speed will help you more, as you will have an auto ready more often and last hitting will generally feel more responsive that way.

I've been playing around with various combinations of AD And AS so far. I was wondering if a few points of AR pen might be useful but if minions lose AR that answers that question. Thanks.

Could you send me a link to the upcoming changes?

AD marks has proven to be the most efficient for last hitting and is why this has become the default for AD champs. ArP is better against champions and will outscale AD mid and late game.

Math or it didn't happen.

Minions start with 0 armor and it goes up every 3 minutes. You cannot go below 0 armor so you are wasting stats with armor pen. 15 AD will give you "more" against minions for the first 15 minutes or so of the game.

Found it...patch notes for 4.20 say minions no longer get AR or MR...which goes live today...which kills this discussion.
