Hey yall, long time newb here.

Just started jungling in bots and find it quite enjoyable.
However, I know it's a totally different beast in PVP, so if anyone would be so benevolent as to bestow some knowledge upon a newb such as myself, I would be very grateful.

Champs I've jungled with so far: Rengar Warwick Thinking about: Elise Chogath Twitch

The more CC you have the better time you will have.

Regardless of which champ you're using, always move in between AAs against melee monsters. This will delay their next attack, therefore reducing their damage dealt against you. After a buff camp, consider taking scuttle crab in order to regain HP for the second camp. You will have level 3 and about 600 gold for your first back.

Regarding champions, try out things that you find interesting and that might have potential. Current jungle is way too fucking boring.

Depends on what side I am on and who I am jungling against but generally

I pretty much play WW only because I have not bought le yet. The nice thing about WW is you can start at any camp and you do not require assistance in killing it (a leash). I usually start with 2 healing pots and most time start at the Krugs (smite at beginning for stun), red, Gromp (smite for buff), blue, wolves (smite for site) port back and buy boots and weapon upgrade and purple ward. I then head back to krugs, razer beaks, purple ward little bush near mid bottom river.

As WW I pretty much NEVER attempt to gank prior to 6. Sometimes I invade, sometimes I run over prior to spawn and throw a ward near enemy blue or red to get an idea where they are starting. Heck sometimes, if I ward say their red and they started blue I will take their red.

A big key to jungling to buying wards and making sure you get as much sight as possible. It is pretty much you and support warding

I'd wait on Elise unless you've already practiced with her. She's got a high will cap. But if you feel comfortable with her then go ahead.

Elise is a prety hard champion and nerfs hurt her SO BAD, I'm waiting for a real buff (not counting the tiny monster damage buff) to play her again :(

The current meta picks are JarvanIV, LeeSin(has a very high skill cap), RekSai and Vi; they are FAR STRONGER than other picks at the moment. Some other picks may work are mainly XinZhao, Sejuani (Those buffs OMG) and Warwick. I can forgot someone.

For tips, just ward, WARD and item 2044 . ALWAYS buy wards and place them in deathbushes (the little bushes on the river) or in the enemy jungle. Don't towerdive unless you're really sure about your survival. Kill Razorbeaks with summoner 11 before ganking and deny the enemy vision.
