I've owned Udyr for quite some time now, but I never figured out how to use his abilities efficiently in the jungle. I've been watching Trick and looked at other guides, but haven't been able to figure out when to use what skill. It looks to me that Trick uses R first, then when the cooldown for the R is over, he switches to W. After the first hit for the W, he switches back to R? Am I getting this right?

watch Trick2g Udyr My way videos = profit. just listen to what he says and you cant go wrong. eventually, you will get a feel for the clear times you get with q and r respectively and with different builds. if youre in the jungle, use r until you feel you have your pathing and build down comfortably, then you can try jungling with tiger. phoenix is much safer in the jungle, i.e. much harder to die because it has much better clear.
Just switch between R and W to clear camps. R will help you clear faster and W will give you a shield and a bit of lifesteal so you don't take much damage. Helps you get through the early game, just alternate them on cooldown when you're fighting jungle monsters.
I always thought Phoenix stance was dead, because Tiger is far superior....
never speak of trick hes not bad, its just that people are bad when they try to be him, lol and yes R is your wave clear, you only pop W for a second solely for the shield
