Need Help From A Janna Main ( All Tiers )

I'm absolutely in love with Janna as a champion. I've been playing her since the beginning of season 4, but I feel like i've had reached a certain wall. I know there has to be much more depth to playing her than I've reached. I feel like I can dominate most of my matchups aggresively with her depending on my adc, however I've seen some Janna's effectively 2v1 with a terrible carry. I'd love to chat with other fanatic Janna players to see where I could improve. Thanks!

Early game Janna can be super aggressive with her shield. Either put it on yourself and auto your opponent, or put it on your ADC when they move forward to trade. Champions like Lucian and Graves can just take the shield, E + auto + Q for massive damage and no chance of retaliation. Don't be afraid to use your shield aggressively.

Try to always save your Q for all in moments. Do not try to charge it up and poke, it simply isn't worth it and it's way too easy to dodge. You run the risk of having the spell on cooldown for an important moment, and it also costs a lot of mana for what it does.

Remember that your W gives passive movement speed, so using it takes that away until your cooldown is back. W is good for chasing down single opponents, but when you're running away from multiple it's often better to save it instead for the passive movespeed.

I have one tip for you. If youre getting chased, dont aim your Q at them, but rather in the direction you're going. This way it charges up fully and when the enemy reaches that point if they're still chasing, they will be knocked up full power

I'm not Janna player (I don't play too simply champions), but the only thing you need to do in lane is shield your ADC once in a while and maybe press Q if ganked.

That's it, you have now maxed Janna!

What situations in your Janna play do you feel you need the most help with exactly or you looking for just overall tips?

Honestly, I'm not sure. I do all the things Nasreth mentions fairly well. My wards per minute is pretty on point as well. I suppose I was just wondering if there was just some secret I'm missing. Is there a skill cap limit with playing Janna? I keep reading threads where to climb you must "dominate" your lane. I suppose I'm looking for a way to do just that despite the skill level of the adc I am laning with and teammates.

I have a question about Janna and assists. Does shielding a Karthus right before he ults and gets a pentakill give Janna 5 assists?
