If someone likeFiddlesticks ults, then you ult to kick him off of your friendlies You can also use it to push back other assassins/people you don't want on your adc.

You can use it for the aoe heal to basically restore your team back to full health.

Or you can try to aggressively push an enemy out of position with it (like flash+R then enemy champion goes into your team).

When your team is low during a teamfight, if you are safe, you can fully channel your ult to heal your team. When someone dangerous jumps on your carries, quickly ult. In this case, you don't have channel the ability. Once you ult, you will shove enemies out of the way, giving your team breathing space. Alternatively, you can flash into the enemy team and ult to scatter them. Do this if you are ambushing enemies.

you can use it for just the knockback or just the heal, but it's nice if you can position to use both. One trick is to stand in the middle of your team, closer to your adc. When your carry gets dove you can shield him and then ult, knocking their tank forwards and their assassin/bruiser back way behind your carry. Your adc then has the ad bonus from the shield and the regeneration from the heal to 1v1 whoever tried to assassinate him, and your front line can take advantage of the heal too.

This generally resets the fight with your team at or close to full health and the enemy team down a man.
