I started watching coaching vids and after being stuck in gold most of my time playing i got to diamond with high win rates on my played champions all within two weeks of on and off playing. Heres some of my tips i wish i would have listened to or stuck with that helped me improve faster.

play easy champions. I myself can hit skill shots pretty well and all that jazz doesn't matter. a champion is more than just mechanics theres alot that goes into it so stay away from champs like zed, yasuo, kalista just play easy ones like annie, kayle, garen so that you can work on the basics and dont have to worry about playing a certain style. had a 70% win rate on annie 70% win rate on kayle kept winning because I learned how to play the easy champ then learned how to abuse its strengths. Faster then trying to be faker on zed.

Stop dying. The safer i played the better i did the more opportunities i saw for me to take advantage of people just making mistakes. The less deaths you have while still contributing = higher percent chance to win by a mile. Just dont play so safe you dont do anything just dont go for 50/50 plays only go for forsure things. Hated player xj9 i still respect that he gets shit talked while playing because hes just farming yes hes farming because its worth more gold than waiting in a bush for a 50/50 play its why he gets ahead and is better than a majority of players and had a 91% win rate on rek sai to masters/challenger. apdo best player in the world averages 2-3 deaths on every champion and 4-5 kills. which brings me to the next point

Ojectives>farm>kills. Too many people get wrapped up on kills, kills dont win games the nexus does. stick to this order and you will win more games for sure.

Figure out who you can and cant rely on . Base this on the players that consistently make good or decent plays and help them and play around them.

You dont need to carry . You can still carry by being supportive trying to make plays and stuff while behind is exactly what not to do. Wait for mistakes there will be plennttty.

Vision is important. Wards will help you not die and be able to pick people off for easy wins and free 4v5 fights wards are the most useful item in the game.

Learn how to build. Building around what you are playing against is a mistake a majority people make and just follow stuff blind. If you learn to adapt to the enemy champions it just helps you succeed way more.

Keep playing the champions you win with. Alot of players just play a bunch of random champions every game and that really hinders you when trying to climb just keep spamming those champs you win with even if you lose a couple you have a good win rate so those two games are countered by the ten you will win in a row after. It might be boring but we are going for elo here and learning the game this helps both. If you just wanna have fun and play random champions you trying to learn a bunch of different things at once and thats wayy harder than focusing on one thing getting it really good then moving on.

Dont type as much focus on the game and forget about teammates focus on yourself. Your teammates will always be bad plain and simple best thing you can do is get better so you can help them and yourself to the point it doesn't matter how bad they are you will make up for it. Typing takes up time for the game so dont type unless its super important and never respond to negativity because who cares what some nobody says just play your game and do everything you can to win it even help the toxic player gank his lane ect dont be salty just play to help yourself win no matter what. You can almost always carry your teammates if you are good enough dont let them being bad be an excuse if someone else can do it so can you.

But yeah gl hf (^:

Stop dying.

I wish my team would read this tip, if they ever read anything. So many people think "Well if they killed one of us, I have to chase for that kill to make it even". That's bullshit, because you often get yourself killed without netting that revenge kill you were after, and even if you did make it a one-for-one you may have expended valuable cooldowns or just wasted time getting a kill less valuable than an objective.

Disengaging and keeping every player alive to retry the teamfight is better than going all in every engage regardless of the fact that they dodged your knockup and Gnar hasn't used his Ult yet.

I feel this is why my team is losing when they shouldn't. Refusal to disengage.

a.k.a. Pick your fights.

There's also the laning phase triangle. Poke beats kill, kill beats sustain and sustain beats poke.

All this stuff is true and things I learned while climbing to gold. Spammed Warwick top to climb pretty simple champ but knowing how to win with him took a lot of knowledge. I will say that picking under used champs has a lot of advantages people just plan out don't respect a champ they think is "bad" most of them are pretty strong if used right and very viable even if people call you a troll when you have a bad game.
