Need some opinions on Singed

Been thinking about picking him up recently, but I'm not 100% sure. Was hoping I could get some pros and cons about him. Maybe nudge me along in the purchase/not purchase path?

It really depends on what you want him for. If you want a champ for ranked then I wouldn't get him; he takes a lot of mastery to carry with in ranked. If you want a fun champ for normals though, he's a great choice.

singed is extremely weak early, but SO much fun later on. a common strategy is to go 'proxy singed', and go between the outer and inner top turrets, farming with your poison. if the jungler comes to kill you, unless he and the top laner of great hard cc, they won't be able to catch you (if you have ult up), and usually it isn't worth chasing you. Singed is a nightmare to tower dive, and later on he has great team fight presence (just run around poisoning people XD) He's not really in the meta right now as he's weak early, but he's fun. typical build: item 3027 (first item) item 3116 (SO strong on him) item 3143 item 3003 (optional; he does stack tear VERY quickly) item 3065

If you wanna tank and laugh at everyone that dies of from your flatulence then go for it, but he is meant to take as much damage as possible while flipping enemies into your partners for a quick death.
