Late Game Riven

Hi Guys,

I am currently learning Riven, although she is still very hard for me. I win lane most of the time in a favourable matchup, but late game i just feel completely useless. Mostly i try to splitpush as Riven, but the others keep getting engaged on 5v4 midlane so i feel like i have to be there. I try to be the sweeper when i play Riven, but before all their cc is wasted, we already lost the teamfight and im the only one left, i feel useless in this situation and i feel like i need to help my team, but just dont know how,

Dont play riven, Thats my advice.

Youtube engage combos on Riven and always go glass cannon on her besides maybe a GA. If you still can't do well in team fights just don't play her. Some champs just aren't meant for some ppl item 3070

Yeah, the people who say you shouldn't play riven are usually the same ones who face her, and die like 15 times in one game against her.

To answer your overall thing, it sounds like you have more of a "bad team" related problem than an actual problem with the champion.

Don't split push unless you have teleport or you are certain your team won't just die flat out in a 4v5. As you said you said your team dies when you aren't there so the easiest solution would be to just be there before or shortly after the teamfight starts.
