Hi Guys, i am a Gold 4 Adc main, my mains are: Trist, Jinx and Vayne. I can also play ashe, twitch and Kalista. However i asked myself when i should pick what adc depending on the team comp. Can someone help me out with this quesiton? Any help would be appreciated
Greeting friend. let me just start or by saying if the bronze bothers you then is a smurf and the one I use for boards my main account is called Jeph. But now to the matter at hand.
First of all the most important role in deciding your ADC is what support you're getting as a Zilean isnt nearly as good for vayne as lets say thresh or Crank. With your 3 mains I can say Leo Thresh Crank Raka Jana and to a lesser Degree Morg and Sona will probably satisfy all the laning issues.
Now that the problems with your team are solved lets look at the enemy. Since they're your mains you probably know how they work but lets break them down.
Trist is the best Sieger in the game IMO
Jinx is also super great at sieging but also excels at team fights
and Vayne the late game carry she trades her siege potential for unlimited 1v1 potential
So when to choose. looking at both teams if the enemy team has more CC than you by far (they have Annie Malph Crank while you have a thresh) I wouldnt suggest grabbing Vayne you get focused CC'd off your ass then die and be useless. On the flip side if you have buckets of CC and the enemy neglected such a thing Vayne could very well be a smart grab since "They can't say no if they're stunned". Now we look at tankiness How much overall damage can the enemy take once again Vayne can rip tanks a new one...if they arent charging through the front line into you. Then we have trist her range lets her kite anyone and shes one of a few ADC with her own escape and since the enemy team traded Tank for damage you could be splitting more (in theory). Now you've probably noticed I've neglected discussion about Jinx well the thing is she's the best of both worlds she is the exact middle ground of the two others she has her own snare to compensate for a teams lack of CC she can mow down towers quick into the game but shes not better than Vayne or Trist at dueling or sieging, respectfully.
