Hello fellow summoners! I was recently introduced to this game back in March. I have has good and bad moments along the way to 30. The learning curves for a non PC gamer is pretty harsh, but I feel like I'm close to being ready for ranked play. I wanted to ask the community for some tips, and maybe some stuff I should watch out for as I prepare to start ranked play. I would also like to know how much time I have until the season ends (I think its Nov based on last season). TL:DR Tips and hints for Ranked playAshe Teemo Ahri Morgana Thanks

I think November is about right. There's a ton of warning before it ends. You should watch the LCS and high elo Twitch streams; playing with a bunch of people that also don't know what they're doing doesn't teach you a lot of things as fast as watching a pro (though playing it yourself is the only way to perfect what you saw).

i got some tips for you , 1st dont play ranked until you're ready ( runes , masteries , etc..) , ranked is different from normals as people really want to win and get super greedy so tip 2: focus objectives and not kills it goes ( inhabitors , baron , drag , towers ...) , 3: teamwork exp, you won your lane with 3 kills u dont just keep pushing and hope your losing lanes will catch up on their own , you push your lane go help others who are struggling so you can snowball the game and carry your team , 4: punish the enemy team on their mistakes and ward alot, 5 and last : DO NOT blame your teammates or rage that just makes things worse (im a bronze player climbing to silver these are the tips that are helping me and gl with your ranked games )

Going into ranked for the first time after a few hundred games, especially without much prior experience with PC games, pretty much guarantees that you will wind up in Bronze. Nothing wrong with that! It just means there's a lot of room for improvement. If it would bother you to have a Bronze ranking, consider holding off for a while longer until you've learned a lot more about the game. If it doesn't bother you, go for it.

Tips: ADC typically takes heal instead of ignite. And consider squeezing in as many top/jungle normals as you can. This will prepare you for games where you are a low pick and don't get one of your main roles. It will also help you understand the strengths and weaknesses of more champions so that you can play against them correctly.

Runes and masteries are essential for ranked. Check out what runes and masteries the pros use at probuilds.net before spending any IP.
