This is a very situation dependent idea. You need to know how to use caitlyn, position and understand her passive.

Knowing these things a person should for the most part never need a flash. Net can be used in certain spots combined with smites slow to clear a sticky situation, and cd quicker then flash. But the whole idea here is mid game.
After getting Go into At this point if you have a support running with you and your on the same page advantage city just arrived. Instead of only having 1 utility to their FLASH HEAL, your going to slow proc em with smite, extra damage, and confuse the fk out of them. Utalizing your traps, and bush procs, a duo combo bot would benifit greatly mid to late game with a snowball. Finish off Go into IE, or if you get feed early enough turning you into a OBJECTIVE MONSTER " with your ability to push champions out of lane" ( AS WELL AS ) 39%ArmPen.

I like to get a or spesh with Caitlyn.

You still need flash because multi-person ganks and losing a teamfight are bad.
Objectives are good. I would much rather my ADC use that slot for something much more useful than the jungler item (Which until you hit tier 3 has no combat stats). The extra damage from Chilling Smite is realistically pretty low, and while the slow is nice 1v1, it isn't ultimately that useful in a teamfight, unless you're cleaning up.
Adding on to this a little bit. I could go for this item. Instead, I could spend another 50 gold and get a LW, which is hugely more beneficial on an ADC.

Just putting this out there, turrets don't calculate armor pen.

Or you just go jungle Caitlyn and push all three outer turrets away within the 1st twelve minutes of the game.

caitlyn really isnt in the midle of team fights...she should be positioned far out with her range, and in a bush is possible. So flash would still prove less usfull imo...situation ally
