So I just got trolled by 4 people in my game...

First death was 12 min in - After each of my lanes had died 3 times per champion...

Second death was 21:45 of a 22 min game.

I got reported by 4 people for NOT playing an LC$ meta champ... However I maintained gold per min higher then our ADC, and ganked and counter ganked MULTIPLE TIMES.

"Content: and you get reported for using gp jg in diamond" "xContent: and thats why you dont break meta" "xKnightmares: GP jg is bad jg"

Its kinda hard to gank an already 3-0 lane by 5 mins in because YOU decided GP jungle is ![Trundle](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.11.1/img/champion/Trundle.png)  out of pure ignorance.

I just think it is so sad that OUR community is now based around what 20 champs the LC$ "says" is meta. There are endless combo's with the MAMMOTH champion pool, how come I am consistently running into this kind of bs?

_Ill spell this out for the reading impaired...This is not a conversation about my stats in game. The stats of GP as jungle or anything specifically related to game play or balance about the champion or my PERSONAL game play are all moot points and hold NO BEARING what so ever to the question above. I expect 2-3 idiots to post in relevance to GP jungle, or my personal match history...also about 30 thumbs down because is stated "LC$" so instead of educating and replying with viable conversation they'll thumbs down and feel accomplished....p.s... its like 80% of our community that sucks....the other 20% know exactly what i am saying. _

an easy way to avoid this is just to treat your team like bots and not talk to them, happens in my league too but you just gotta let em know with pings and thats it. maybe 1 or 2 sentences regarding play, but other than that, look after your own elo if thats what your after

also you got to think about composition, engages and cc, maybe your team was looking for cc that a sej can offer, and maybe your GP ult is all that contributes to an easier gank, food for thought

Our comp was fine...

I understand what your saying...But I don't see how this overall solves the issue for the entire community?

Did you pick him for any strategic reason or just because you wanted to play GP knowing he's less likely to win than a meta jungler?

Peasant, please. I jungle as Morgana and Soraka regularly because I'm so damned bored of bruisers.

Hell, even went mid as Vi against Vel'Koz because our Morgana afk'd after her first death (classic). The meta has no strings on me.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but I seriously doubt those reports will mean anything.

While there is value in looking to the pros--they will, in general, play some very good champions in ways that we can learn from--of course that doesn't mean that we should only pick what the pros pick. The pros don't pick Heimerdinger, does that mean he can't mid? No, of course not. Pros don't pick jungle Poppy, and I have seen some very skilled jungle Poppy players regardless.

And heck, after patch 5.5 there have been a huge surge in diversity of picks in LCS. After seeing Shaco jungle picked in LCS and then WIN, I now believe anything is possible....

Those people are morons and you should just forget about them.

Also stop spelling LCS with a dollar sign. This isn't Riot trying to be all money grabbing at all, this is a case where people take the "meta" too seriously and are too stupid to even watch recent matches and see that even the pros are trying new things, particularly in the jungle.
