Still Losing as Vi, Really Want Advice In a Non-Tutoring Manner

I want definite answers here. I was at 80 LP in Bronze 3 today, now I'm down to 30 something. WHY AM I LOSING AS VI, and why can't I carry any game with her lately? Three losses in a row is not a good sign, people!

Go ahead - tell me that Vi who I main is not a good champ anymore, or that the rising tank jungler meta is bad for her, or something that I can correct on her that lets me carry to Gold 5 at least, so I can get that Victorious skin.

Is it bad runes/masteries/item builds/skill orders? Do I need more farm? Do I need to mute all of the toxic, rage-quitting or AFK trolls on my team? Or is it something else? I would appreciate some solid path I can take that is also fulfilling in the processing of taking it, and not a repetition of the general stuff, like warding, which I feel I already do in abundance.

And also a general idea of things I can do for every stage or scenario of the game. Some item answers for the different team comps or whether we're winning/losing, for example.

All I know is that once I was winning almost every game as Vi, and now I'm losing a lot more with her. What else do I need to work on with her, and how am I repeatedly being outplayed?

Refer to LoLKing, op.gg, LoL Match History, etc. And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, ACTUAL ANSWERS, not some bull about how Vi sucks or how I suck that would encourage me to respond in a manner that would see me banned for two weeks or forever. Not that toxicity is a weakness of mine, but being pissed about not making any advancement tends to set people off when further jabbed or rankled.

You're 20-13 (60% winrate) as Vi with a ~7/4/9 kda.

You're doing fine.

Three losses in a row doesn't mean anything. You're just overreacting and that is effecting your attitude and potentially effecting your decision making.

Just sit back, play the games, and come back when your winrate drops below 50% to ask more questions. Until then, you're doing nothing wrong per say.

Punch first, ask questions while punching.

Try going cinderhulk ---> trinity force / or some damage item ----> more tank items. It's a little greedy to get warrior and trinity force, especially because none of them have any lifesteal, which matters less for vi but i still think it's better to only have 1 offensive item. HOWEVER if you have a dedicated tank it might be okay if you are ahead.

Another thing is try to avoid dying as much as possible. each death is ~300+ gold depending on assists kill streaks or death streaks. Generally dying is like the worst thing possible because

  1. you give the enemy gold
  2. you can't farm anymore
  3. you can' get xp because you can't farm
  4. the enemy is getting xp and farming
  5. TL;DR dying basically 4x worse than losing some farm or missing a kill at any point in the game.

Personally, i do 9/21/0 and i start W on Vi.

Another thing you can do is solo dragon at lvl 3. almost every jungler can solo dragon at level 3, so if you can sneak it beast. (i have done a normal route hit 3 then went dragon, but you might wanna recall buy jungle item pink ward and health pots then go to dragon to be safe.

You don't always have to ult the adc or engage. You should gauge whether your adc is strong enough to carry the teamfight if they aren't then you can kill their adc, but don't die. If they are then peel for them and let them carry the teamfight.

In 95% of my games looking back at the game, and even during the game i can identify where i could have done something that was super simple that would have changed the outcome of a teamfight or the game. Just work on yourself and your team will follow. Losing a game where you are 10-1 is rare. you win 9/10 games when you are 10-1. And if you are consistently losing more than 1/10 games when you are 10/1 you need to identify what you are doing wrong. Because if you are 10-1, the game is in your hands. it's not your team 9/10 times it's you.

Also don't tilt. after you lose take a short break, recover yourself and stay positive.

Do you have this problem with other champions? If you aren't having any luck changing your gameplay with a specific Champion, examine your overall League gameplay. Are you paying attention to your map at all times? Are you warding as appropriate (Every single Champion can contribute to vision in the game and there is no reason not to)? If you're struggling in the jungle, have you tried changing up your route? If you're struggling in lane, maybe focus on your CS over your harass. Think about how to most effectively gank as a jungler, or how to set up ganks for the jungler if you're in lane.

League is a huge and very complex game - there is a lot more than just one Champ's mechanics to consider. And trust me, three games is nothing.
