AD tank Rengar

Hey guys I just bought Rengar and I have played him a couple times when he was free so I have some experience with him. What I'd like to know now is how to tank him but still do significant damage. I've been told a cdr tank is the best I could go but I still don't really know much. The tank items I've put on his item list for Rengar is Randuin'ss(or Sunfire) and spirit visage. The rest of the items are black cleaver, Youmuu's and Stalker's Blade with the warrior enchantment. Boots are still a question right now I'm trying out Ionian boots of lucidity but that is just a test. Is there anything in my build that i can change or replace with a better weapon. I'm also thinking of Hydra instead of Youmuu's

Stalker's Blade w/ Warrior (?) Ionian Boots of Lucidity Randuin's Omen or Sunfire Cape Spirit Visage The Black Cleaver Youmuu's Ghostblade or The Ravenous Hydra

*Fighter Rengar

Anywho, the main priority of Fighter Rengar is to maximize the time he has on the battlefield by the quality of his time. To rephrase, CDR Tank itemization makes sense on Rengar because this gives you the tankiness you need to live long and the ability spamming to make your time worth it.

With this in mind, your CDR itemizations can be summed up with: item 3142 - item 3172 - item 3071 - item 3158 - item 3110 - item 3065 - item 3190

From the most offensive in nature to the most defensive in nature.

Also, unless the enemy team really, really, does not have any CC, I almost always recommend running Tenacity on Fighters: item 3172 - item 3111 - item 3709

Once you have Tenacity and 40% CDR, the rest is just stat items really.

Hope this helps give you an idea of what you wanna do.

item 3110 ?!?!?! Accccckkkkk!!!! dat mana waste...try item 3075 , is abit of a fart choice unless you're countering with it but at least it isn't a stat waste.

P.S. I get it, item 3110 is better for the passive/CDR, but I try my best to not waste stats, the only one I'm okay with wasting is item 3078 , due to all the other good stats on it.

Well I'll leave it at this: Your argument is dumb.

Stats "wasted" largely lies in gold efficiency.

Thornmail is 95.2% efficient.

Frozen Heart is 107.5% efficient, AFTER you remove the mana.

Tell me, if the Frozen Heart is more gold efficient than Thornmail on a non-mana based champion, which item is really wasting your gold per stat?

...Why call my "argument" dumb...? I was just stating a preference, besides I only meant to place item 3075 as a counter to auto-attackers, I said nothing about solt efficiency...And I highly doubt "slot efficiency" should still be at 107.5% with item 3110 on a manaless champion, this should be calculated on a champ-to-champ basis, not just tossing up statistics across the board. :/

I'm fine if you have a preference and if you think harming the auto attackers back is really better than negating their damage on a multiplicative level in the first place, then that's fine. However, the argument you presented was strictly about the wasted mana.

Gold efficiency.

Slot efficiency has nothing to do with percentages, though if it did then the Frozen Heart's percentage is definitely higher, but we're talking about gold here if you want to argue anything about wasted stats. It's stated on the wiki that Frozen Heart's own statistical gold value is far above that of the Thornmail's. On a champ to champ basis, Fighter Rengar needs to spam skills. Doesn't that mean if we ignore the general statistics (which are in favor of Frozen Heart), and analyze on a more champion specific level, Frozen Heart is better for Rengar because of the CDR?

I'll rephrase things in short for you. If you wanted to state an opinion, fine. If you want to try to argue facts, like wasting mana, you're wrong and currently haven't refuted my own argument yet. Decide if you want to state an opinion or argue facts, and if you choose the latter, make sure you actually know what you're talking about. You apparently don't know the difference between theoretical gold and slot efficiency, you therefore really don't understand the Frozen Heart's theoretical gold and slot efficiency, and you really do not understand how the mana isn't technically gone to waste. Study up.

Off note, your english is terrible. Are you not a native speaker? If not, I highly suggest to stop responding, you clearly can not understand my thoughts nor portray your own for an argument.
