My Personal Jungle Route Optimization & Ganking Tips

The video above is an example video of Foxdrop on how to properly gank.. Trust me, the tips are wonderful and overwhelmingly funny how much you realized you see people on a daily basis making the same mistakes.

This was an overly long response comment to Tips & Tricks With FoxdropLoL (The youtuber/T-Streamer above) Jungle clearing, and i figured.. Why not just turn this into it's own thread so people can make their own opinions about this style of game play and incorporate it into their own as a reliable tip/guide on jungle routes.. I noticed there were just too many comments when i made this and i would seem i came too late for anyone to really give this any attention and it looked like my favorite streamer stopped responding to comments by now. Sucks to miss out on the chance to really talk to someone who inspired you to be a better league player.

Hope you like this! Sorry if it doesn't come off making as much sense as i would have liked for you to understand.

Counter Jungling path; As asked in description, my favorite path as a Khazix/Hecarim/Nocturne main, I usually start with the Semi-bigger Camps. I like to steal people buffs depending on analyzing the likeliest chance they will go for Blue buff or Red buff, and start on the opposing side from the buff I'm most likely to steal without encountering their opposing jungler in the safest, and fastest way possible. Just make sure to take precautions, by making the most of your ward. You never know if they have decided otherwise, it can get real testy and you may end up killed by an unexpected appearance by the enemy jungler. It's rare, in my experience, that you run into them. But it can, and has happened a few times and caught me off guard, which resulted in giving THEM idea's and setting my self behind with wasted time and possibly a recall if they catch you.

If you wish, you may also do the opposite of sneaky stealing, and just kill them by ganking THEM instead, and earn your first kill 3 mins into the game, and have earned your self a great start in gold and a well earned buff. Juuust~ make sure they their health has been lowered enough to get an easy kill with the 2 abilities you have. If you aren't too sure you'll kill them in time, run in and steal their buff with smite asfast as you can during the last few secs and run like hell. If you need to, don't be afraid to burn your flash early. It'll possibly be off the cd by the time you make it into your second gank if not your first if you decide to run back and clear your jungle regularly some more.

Gromp: After smiting it, make a bee-line for their Red at lvl 2.

Krugs: Repeat, make a bee-line for their Blue at lvl 2.

I specialize in assassins, so these are most useful for that type glass cannon jungling

Basic Red Buff path: On other champions with a slower wave clear/more hp/tankier, I would usually start Red buff first and use my smite when it drops to 420hp to earn a quarter of my hp back for longer survival, also depending on what jungler is the least likely to run out of mana in a 3 camp period. Afterwards, I'll make a bee-line toward the Wolf camp and completely ignore the Raptors, seeing as they are overall the hardest to kill both in numbers and almost overwhelming damage--In both my own experience and the constant mistakes i see others make. Make sure not to smite the Wolves and save it for Gromp as your 3rd camp. If you end up taking more damage than anticipated, pop a health potion..--(You made sure to buy 2, right? ALWAYS buy 2 health pots when you jungle) and go attempt to kill the raptors (Again, don't smite unless necessary) and then Immediately head back on your first recall. Afterward, take out the remaining camps, starting with whatever is closest to the lane you intend to help next.

Basic Blue buff path: Do the mirror as above. But instead of starting Blue, start Gromp and smite, for it's buff is much more useful in clearing. Also, since blue doesn't do as much damage compared to Red, and the amount of mana you would get back from simply running around spamming maybe 2 abilities with long cd timers, you have absolutely no reason to be smiting it to begin with unless you're sure someone will steal it, so have at it and simply solo it as is.Then, do as above and kill wolves, no smite. Move on to RAPTORS and ignore Krugs, if you waste smite on them too early, not only did you fuck up your respawn timer but you going back after killing them and walking into lane to gank will have cost you precious time. They are saved for last, ALMOST always, unless you intend to steal their blue. This is also why you should be getting a WARD early game to ward behind the walls of your Buff's when you feel endangered by their MID laner most likely, or in the river leading to your camps if you're more suspicious of THEIR jungler. and then replacing it with Red Lens later into the game when things start getting more unpredictable.. And to be extra safe, always make sure to have 2 health pots in your inventory at all times untill the 12m period. Juuuust~ in case a gank doesn't go as planned, or you turn into a victim of circumstance.

Also.. item 3361 Vision wins games. Don't forget to upgrade it at lvl 9.

This was my miniature guide to how I personally run my jungle experience. I hope anybody who took the time to read this enjoyed some of the tips and found my play style somewhat helpful, and compliments theirs as well.
