Long story short, it takes a long while for me to save up for runes, champs etc. (primarily runes). Is there something I'm missing or is this normal? The reason I'm saying this is because I saw someone who is level 27 and he had FOUR COMPLETED RUNE PAGES! All runes were tier 3!! This is insane for me since I don't even have one rune page done and my friend in Silver doesn't either.
2000boxes2 votesyou can re use runes for example, every rune page uses scaling magic resist runes you only need to buy 9 of these runes if you use them in 1 page you can still use them in other pages the guy might just have a lot of repeating runes it took me a month to complete 2 rune pages and i only play on weekends

Bought IP boosts, and probably didn't buy champions at all, just played free to play. i Don't even have 3 full, and i've been level 30 for a while (champ buying addict :'( ). Anyway, there's really not a fast way. Get your first win of the day every day, and resist the urge to buy champions till you have rune pages. If you can shell out $, then buy the new things for ARAM that give skins and bonus IP, as thats a fairly fast way to earn, especially if you buy IP boosts to go with.

I dont get the new thing for ARAM, honestly I have no idea where to get it. Would like to know just curious. I'm probably just gonna get an IP boost over the summer and grind for 30 days :p

Shiroi Kitsune1 votesI'm sitting at the (almost) 5 years later mark and only have 4 completed rune pages, and 63 of the champions XD Of course, I don't play too awful much either. Only started playing ranked in Season 3.

Drakylon1 votesPlay Dominion. Shorter games (~25 minute max), around 60-80 IP per game. That little Dominion bonus adds up.
