So me and 2 of my other friends are wanting to make a rank team soon when we get to level 30. But we're having a hard time understanding How rank teams work. Is there a way for us to see a rule book? and understand how we can do it. Someone told me we can have up to 9 players but someone else said we can only play with 3 people.

You can have 9 players on a team. 5 clearly you can only queue up with 5 for summoners rift and 3 for twisted treeline but if you had all 9 online you could play 3 twisted treeline games at the same time or 1 SR and 1 TT.
To make one you just click create ranked team, choose name, choose tag, and you are done.
Ranked games are played like normal draft except you can't use free champions. So everyone on the team will need 16 champions atleast.
