Building sightstone on junglers

Is it worth being 800 gold behind the other jungler and in exchange having at least 6 constant green wards on the mao (with the support warding as well)?

I feel like this depends on the jungler:

For certain, whenever I play, Lee Sin - Sightstone hop Nunu or other invade heavy junglers (rek sai?)

If you are being tanky, it is a good idea because you could always have more wards. Maybe fit it in after jungle item, assuming you are farmed and/ or fed.

depends on the type of jungler you play and on the fact if you use the wards a lot i for example barely use my wards ....

It helps. Unless you want to buy a series of greens. It's hard for support to cover both sides of mid.

It is useful. The support cannot ward everything. Having the extra vision control is definitely worth it.

Certain jungler synergize better with an early sightstone like lee sin (for ward hopping) and nunu (if you're planning on counter jungling often). The main purpose of getting more vision on the map is getting more information, more intel , on the enemy so you can plan better ganks, counterganks, counterjungling, and rotations. The extra vision also helps your allies lane better because they can decide to play more aggressive or make riskier plays if they know the enemy jungler isn't nearby. Keep in mind that all this information from the vision is pointless if you're not going to use it. If you know you won't use the wards effectively, don't waste your money on sightstone.

It can be a good purchase if you're ahead, or your jungler works well with it. Lee and Jax obviously benefit because they can ward hop, but the HP isn't bad on any tanky jungler. Also it frees you up to get a red trinket early, which can help you remove enemy wards and gank more easily.

If you're behind you are probably better off buying a defensive item and a few single wards from the shop. Also at level 9 you can get the upgraded yellow trinket. You need to place a lot of wards for a sightstone to be cost-effective.
