You can double teleport with Kalista

MrBuffington··19 votes·4,051 views

I get the feeling this is just going to lead to more "Kalista OP QQ", but Kalista can teleport with her soulbound if she ults them in and teleports immediately after (assuming they don't just launch themselves out). It might come in handy, especially since Flash on Kalista is less necessary in some cases.

EDIT: I think you have to channel the teleport immediately after pressing ult; GundayMonday shared a video in the comments that shows it happening. I should clarify that I did not discover this, nor have I done it myself; a Kalista I was soulbound to just showed this to me earlier today

EDIT2: video reposted here for simplicity's sake: http://youtu.be/btdW3HpTd7E

That's useful. Just like Ulting a dead Karthus or Anivia :3

I think you should change the wording to "Dual teleport" rather than double.

If I could change the title I would, alas...

Great,

You just made my day better because I now have more things to hate now,

Thanks OP.

At least you won't be surprised if it ever happens.

Just tried this with a friend in a custom. It doesn't work. He is forcefully ejected before I finish the teleport. We tried 3 times and they all had the same result.

Yeah, vid or I don't BELIEVE the OP.

If this was back in November, its entirely possible its something they've fixed by now.

Idk, i was just in a game with a Kalista, we both backed and she told me not to press anything, ulted me in and channeled TP, and suddenly I was at the enemy inhibitor

I think the timing is important, since the teleport channel takes a while. The person I played with channeled the TP as soon as they pressed the ult. It just worked for me earlier today so it should still happen

interesting find

seems I'm not the first person to discover this (actually someone else showed it to me, I'm sure others have done it before), but it was a surprise to me, so I figured I'd share :P

This is scary.

as if getting ulted by Kalista didn't give me whiplash before :P

Wasn't Kalista ulting with the Oathsworn intentional? I swear I tried it out on the pbe after reading that the interaction was intended, and I was surprised to see it work.

MrBuffington1 votes

Not sure, was just in a game with a person who did this to me, I was surprised to find out it worked so I figured I'd post it here :P

Yeah this has been known about since she was on PBE. Riot and other players are perfectly aware it exists. It's just not really seen since the vast majority of people would rather have a defensive summoner than tp.

MrBuffington1 votes

yea I just found out about it this morning, I just wanted to share since it's a lesser known tactic, as you said.

So now we got Wisp Relocate from dota 2? 8)

MrBuffington1 votes

I guess? never played dota, sounds interesting though

Yes but in game, you need a situation where both players are together at the wrong location (because you dont tp from a good position) and that the ult couldn't be useful for something better.

I guess a good skype team could go shop together... but beside that it's unlikely to happen much often.

Great. Now you are going to make toplane kalista a thing. Except it won't be a thing because kalista is trash top. Too bad the LCS tryhards won't realize that.
