When to Recall

Im silver 3 at the moment and Im having a hard time deciding when to recall and when to stay out there and get me that gold. The logical aproach would be to push all lanes past river then recall and regroup into a single lane with the team but when im pushing a lane and every one else is roaming in jungle I feel I am an easy target being the only one past river idk what to do at this point :/....

Here are some things to ask yourself if deciding to recall:

Is your base in danger? Yes- Recall
Are you very low health and lack sustain from health pots/lifesteal? Is there an enemy that could potentially come to kill you (ex: the enemy jungler)? Yes- Recall
Are you sitting on a huge amount of gold that yoju can spend to either complete important items or purchase big items (ex: rabadons decap, triforce, b.f. sword)? Yes- Recall

There are other reasons for recalling but these are the most important reasons you will want recall for.

If the enemy laner has left their lane and I need to recall, I make sure to push the wave up their tower. The turret will clear the wave, the laner will miss out on all that gold, and the wave will be reset to the middle of the lane by the time I get back.
