This season I was placed silver 4 and quickly climbed up to gold 2 after about 200 games. The last 100 games or so all I have managed to do is get demoted and promoted and I went on a losing streak and ended up where I am now at gold 4. I know there isn't set in stone way for climbing to plat, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips for climbing through the gold divisions.
My golden tip for the difference between gold and plat is if you want to get promoted learn to pick something that can win or shove lane and learn to roam on the map. Example: Annie mid lane is so broken in gold elo. She is a lane bully can bully enemy out of lane or just straight 1v1 burst mid. If she cant get the kill she can instead just shove then roam either top bot or jungle and gank.
If you are support you can communicate with your laner once you shove to have them play very safe and you can also roam as support and place deeper wards.
The same can be said for top lane especially if you take tp you can even gank bot lane.
Overall if you dont find yourself stomping lane every game or you do stomp lane and still lose its because you are not roaming enough hoped this helped.
