In need of a mentor

I am really in need of a mentor. I'll be honest, I'm losing patience in solo que, when I am honestly trying to better myself as a player. I practice in normal matches, I perform well with ranked teams, and I have been pushing myself to learn each position effectively and focus objectives. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the best player by any means, so I am stuck in the disease of bronze solo que, because I am unable to carry an entire team every game.

I would love to get someone that has experience overcoming these obstacles and was able to successfully climb the solo que ladder. Again, I am REALLY trying to become a better player, even reviewing recorded matches to see where to improve, but that can only do so much when you get into a series for the 4th time in a week, and every one of your teammates is doing all sorts of things wrong, too focused on yelling at one another, or just feel like they don't really know how to play ranked games, causing a snowball for the opposing team.

Again, I'm not the best player, and I'm not gonna sit here saying, "Oh, I don't belong in bronze, it's just my shitty teammates.", cause honestly, some games I stink. But I'm at least TRYING my hardest to keep rolling with the punches, keep practicing, and keep trying to better my play style.

I love this game, but it brings me more stress than pleasure this season. I don't want to quit playing a game that I enjoy because of the sourness within ranked if I can get help to overcome. I am really trying to become a good player, and I feel like sometimes I am running up an escalator that's moving faster than my legs can.

Thanks for listening everyone. Hope to hear from you guys!

If you've got curse voice, and can at least hold your own in a given lane, there are a bunch of friends that I usually play with, and we're all trying to get better.

Add me on League/curse sometime, and if we're all around, maybe you can join us. :)

My advice is pretty simple, start a new account. Once you've learned the basics and feel that your mechanics are decent start a new account and practice hard for your promo's. In my experience Bronze is super random because the skill level's vary so much and the game snowballs out of control. So if you aren't on a champ who can 1v5 like Katarina it makes climbing really hard. So long as you have a 50% or above win in promos you should be placed out of bronze where it is slightly easier to climb. Anyway hope that helps GL in solo q

I went out of bronze fairly easily so I can help maybe. I'm curious what you main (role/champs) and what you believe you struggle with.

started playing in season 2 and spent most of the season between 900 and 1100 elo. i can watch a few ranked games and give you pointers if you want.

Add me, and let's play some time! It probably is a miixture of mechanics, champions played, map awareness, and communication/shot calling. But if you're in bronze, having better map awareness can change everything
